IT AINT EASY

it ain’t easy being strong

When the one you love has gone,

Try to hold your head up high, it’s hard to smile and not to cry

IT AINT EASY

IT AINT EASY

to everyone you look the same,

Just don’t see the hidden pain,

There’s so much hurt deep inside ,

All you wanna do is cry

IT AINT EASY

IT AINT EASY. CH

it aint easy being strong

to move your life along without pretending,

Every week just seems the same

Another week goes by again , it’s never ending,

SPREAD YOUR WINGS REACH OUT AND TOUCH THE SKY don’t you know

SOMETIMES EVEN ANGELS HAVE TO CRY

(solo)

it aint easy being strong

to move your life along without pretending,

Every week just seems the same

Another week goes by again , it’s never ending,

Times a healer so they say

Sometime soon you’ll smile again

Time to put your fears aside

Buckle up and take a ride

And make it easy

Make it easy

CH

make it easy everyday

Try to live your life the way you wanna make it

Yea just look forward don’t look back

There’s no future in the past life’s what you make it

SPREAD YOUR WINGS REACH OUT AND TOUCH THE SKY don’t you know

SOMETIMES EVEN ANGELS HAVE TO CRY

I really like this, has an Eagles vibe happening.

Vocals are very good! Lots of great lines. I especially like:

"SPREAD YOUR WINGS REACH OUT AND TOUCH THE SKY, SOMETIMES EVEN ANGELS HAVE TO CRY"

Nice looking tele in your soundcloud profile pic BTW, I have one very similar except mine has a rosewood neck.

Enjoyed the listen!

Love it!! Nice vocals and love the melody. I'm a pedal steel girl.

Super vocals and harmonies Brad. Loved the backtrack. I loved the steele too. Such a cool sound. Harmonic was such a nice touch. Great collaboration

Hey Biglad. This reminds me a touch of a Chris Isaak. Well done on the mix those harmonies are great. Nice chord progression. Very nice song. Rob

Biglad,

Nice and easy. Excellent choice of STYLE. Really does have an Eagles vibe in those harmonies. Would like to hear that lead vocal a bit more upfront at the beginning. Let's hear that nice voice. Good story, great progression, fine production.

Keep 'em coming,
Bob cool

Within the first few bars - I knew I'd be enjoying this smile Your harmonies here at absolutely stunning, and the lyricism on this one is superb as well. These two aspects combined really take this to the next level for me.

Not a single thing I'd change here. You nailed it - thanks for sharing!

I started listening on my computer and had to shut it off..... nope..... gotta listen on something better. I grabbed my cans and had a listen. Much better.

This is good. I like the writing too. Nice flow on the lyrics in the verses.

Nice sounding mix. I'm a sucker for a ballad with steel and harmonica. Nice selection on the piano too. Tasty licks going on with the keys but not to the point that it takes away from what's happening up front.

My only nits..... (minor ones to be sure) are the vox could stand to be a dB or two louder. They also seemed a bit too cool in an EQ sense in a few places. Warmer would be better.

And just a personal opinion..... the ending.... I would have added 2 more measures with my hold on m3/1 to make it a more resolved ending. BUT... what you have there works perfectly fine.

All things considered, this is really a job well done on this song.

I agree with the Eagles feel. A VERY good thing in our music book.

The vocals and arrangement really carry the nice lyric well.

Enjoyed it!
