What a tender but sad song. I think you did a really great job on this one and I enjoyed your use of the RealTracks.

WOW This is one great song that most all of us old pharts can relate! I loved the lyrics and your vocals. Your backing tracks were spot on.

To nitpick I thought that you have too much echo on those harmonies and that made it hard to understand the words. I would cut way back on them but, as always, this is just my opinion and others may or may not agree.

Regardless this is an excellent song.

I had exactly the same thoughts as Mario. Great write, excellent singing, nice production.

But... the echo on the voice made a lot of the lyrics unintelligible, which is a shame because you've got some awesome lyrics there.

Enjoyed this, so obviously sincerely heart-felt. Agree with the constructive comments above. I liked the more tender vocal style on the last verse. Excellent addition to the forum!

What a tune! Very sincere and heart felt, and I'm loving the old school country vibes here. Your vocal performance is top notch, and a wonderful throwback to the country music of the 70's. That aside, the subject matter is very relatable and your vocal delivery only lends merit to that.
