I decided to write a liturgical/worship piece..but didn't have an idea for the lyric. One day, I came across words that, while reading, realize fit EXACTLY into my piece's melody line. So it's a collaboration. But the lyricist is Isaac Watts, who wrote the words in the early 1700's. They have been used for other hymns, but I like mine! It is so cool to have 'worked' with a master!

Rejoice, you righteous, in the Lord,
This work belongs to you;
Sing of his name, his ways, his word,
How holy, just, and true!

His mercy and his righteousness
Let heav'n and earth proclaim;
His works of nature and of grace
Reveal his wondrous name.

STYLE = C_WLZMED Country Waltz
Used some of the Midi sounds in this style, then added
RT854 12-String Acoustic
RT827 Acoustic Strumming Guitar
RD's Country Waltz Brushes
Midi: Church Organ, Choir Sounds, Trumpet, Brass

Really nice work Tano smile Right off the bat, this has to be one of the music unique approaches to a worship song I've ever heard. Really nice backing tracks, and some really catchy harmonies to pull the whole thing along. Your vocal delivery is top notch here too.

Great job on this one - thanks for sharing!
Interesting. Unique.

The rhythm of the organ combined with the drums give it a "different drive". Makes it kind of "catchy"...

The melody fits the theme and its interesting to hear drums on a hymn.
An original piece - I enjoyed listening.

This has a very joyful sound. I really enjoyed it!
Hello, Tom

It is a very easy-to-remember melody.
But the accompaniment is very unique as your usual works.
I agree with floyd.

Loved that catchy, quirky 3/4 rendition! As has been mentioned several times, the unusual drum-organ combo is a real nice fit. Very nice work! Wishing you the very best.

Alan
