Hello, forum friends

Here is my second submission for Xtra Styles PAK 5 Song Contest.
The category is Country.
This song was written about 20 years ago,
Recently I happened to find the individual vocal track of this song when searching the music folders of my old computers.
So, I remade it with Xtra Styles PAK 5 for the submission this time.
It is a story of junior high school girls.

Summary of lyrics:

The last song was over but our cheeks are still hot
We feel somewhat lonely and sometimes we are quiet
How do you think where we will be after ten years, my friends?
I wonder if we all are becoming pretty after ten years

Soon tomorrow comes again and we say "Good morning"
The chime of the start-up rings as usual time
Someone rewrites the date of the corner of the blackboard
I like one of my classmates but maybe we will not become more than friends

The stars of the night sky we look up will not change forever
I wish we can smile with glitter forever

We walk praying on the way home below the starry night
This road continues to each heart of us
I will not forget the warmth of the hands we connect
I wish we all can go forward with our current feelings kept
Hi Shigeki,

This is very pretty! Takako has such a lovely voice. You are fortunate to have her. This is very Pop-ish country. It's such a nice listen - I really enjoyed this! Good luck in the contest!

Alan
Very nice , I like the flute and the voice. Good luck with the contest
Crisp, clean, quality, masterfully produced and mixed.

It's always excellent to get exposure to real perfection.

This production is no exception.
I really admire your ability to create such innocent and romantic musical landscapes. Very beautiful vocals, touching lyrics and great arrangement, those guitars have nice mournful sound that suits the melancholy mood of this song.

Janne
Janne beautifully described the song.

We'll add that the production and arrangement is superb!

And that we much enjoyed our listens. Love that style and best to you with the competition!

Shigeki, I totally agree! Everything you do is of such a high level, we have come to expect that each time we listen and you never disappoint! Thanks, Torrey
Shigeki,

Its always a pleasure listening to your music and Takako has such a warm engaging voice. The melody flows and use of the Americana tracks works well on the ballad you brought back to life.
The pan flute at the close added a nice touch.
Very enjoyable!

Robert
Very pretty Shigeki!! Always love your melodies. The vocal is nicely done. I like the relatively sparse arrangement. Great job!! Take care. Greg
Love your songs Shigeki. This one is no exception. Such a beautiful song. Super vocal, back track and production
Shigeki Adachi,

These lyrics were written by a colleague of the company I had worked for before.

I think that these lyrics can not be written by male lyricists after all.

Shigeki...lovely track! I really liked that you took out the drum/rhythm RealTrack--it isn't needed, since the melody and the bass/guitar carry the meter very nicely. Great melody, with the initial long interval and the repeating pattern. Your vocalist is perfect for this style. Although you started with a 'country' style, you have re-made it into more of a pop song. Expert production, as usual! Excellent submission for the contest!

VERY cool.
As good, if not better, than the wonderful Jpop that seems to bookend the better anime releases.
Great work on this animarorecords! Fantastic choice of instrumentation. The different elements really glue well together and I love the flute during the intro. Great effects on the vocals, the harmonies are very soothing rich too. Well done!
Cool and mellow and as always her voice is like an angel!

Shigeki Adachi,

This is really beautiful. Your melody is wonderful and your arrangement supports Takako's excellent vocals perfectly. You are definitely a master craftsman when it comes to music creating.

As soon as I started listening, I found myself caught up in the song. It was a very, very enjoyable musical experience. I'm always a fan of AABA format and you've used it exquisitely well. One thing that really captured my imagination and made a huge impression on me was how, in each A-section, you used sequence to construct the first half of the melody and how this then opened up into a really lovely contrasting melody to complete the last half of the A-section. This second section of melody has a terrific feeling of 'lift' and 'development' associated with it. As I see it, this is inspired writing indeed.

All the best,
Noel

I am also a fan of AABA format, and at the same time ABA, ABAC and etc., too.
In other words, frequently using sequence pattern in my melodies is my favorite thing.
