Everyone needs a Magic Garden to unwind, meditate, and/or just to get some piece and quiet.

BiaB style = New Age w/ Shakuhachi Synth.
I did the following changes:
1-piano to a harp-Kontakt-Harp
2-Guitar to a Psaltery - Kontakt-Psaltery
3-string to a Choir - Play-Symphonic Choirs
4-drums-as is except I used many different sound sources
5-bass to a pad-Ultra Analog - Ambient-Whispering Wind

Secret sauces = I can't tell you. They are a secret! OK I'll tell ya, EQ, slight compression and the Studio One warming plug-in.

Edit - I am playing the flute via my wind controller.

A very enjoyable piece, Mario. Cool sounds.

(What do you mean by "the Studio warming plug-in"?)

Magic Garden is such a fitting title! It definitely reminds me of nature.

Thanks for sharing!

A style of music I enjoy a lot, Mario. You did well on this track.

I would also like to know what "the Studio warming plug-in" is?

Hi MarioD! I really enjoyed the overall tone of this. Love the guitar work on this. Good sounding mixdown of all the elements too! What specifically did you like about the Studio One warming plugin Keep up the great work!

Yep...magical. Especially loved the change just before the 2:00. Not only relaxing, but inspirational. Thanks for both. I needed that.

Mario,

As always, your flair for creating musical ambience shines. I found this an enjoyable and relaxing listen and a fine way to spend 3 minutes.

I congratulate you and your use of the wind controller. You've really got this mastered!

All the best,
Noel

Wow - really nice work Mario smile It sounds so space-like, and so surreal. It is really pretty too, and your work on the wind controller really shines here. Not to mention, I don't think you could have chosen a more fitting title for this tune.

Great job and thanks for sharing!

Good stuff, Mario!

You are a master of new age music in my book, enjoyed the listen! Mix sounds fabulous through the 'phones.

Great title and composition. We live in the woods and have no planted garden but encounter nature's magical gardens regularly throughout the trails.

Very nice!!!!

Mario,

A very soothing headphone listen- everything works well together ( percussion is subtle too).
Mind opening and peaceful... especially coming from a guy with 19
computer tabs open!

Nicely meditative, good combination of instruments to create the mood. I really like the percussions, your flute playing and the effecting in the pads.

Wow magic garden indeed. I am with Robert on this one. This was so cool to listen to on the headphones. So many cool sounds floating around. Well done Mario..

Magic being the prominent word and sound.

Honest I closed my eyes leaned back on the chair headphones on and I was gone.

That is some piece of equipment, the wind controller and well played.

Googled the biz on the wind controller, now on xmas list.

Thanx Floyd. The Studio warming plug-in is Studio One Pro's console shaper. I used the smooth patina preset with a minor modification.

Thanx Joe. The guitar work is BiaB's guitar track, I did not play a guitar on this one.

I felt that the plug-in took some of the digital edge off. That, IMHO, make the tracks blend better so it was more like analog.

Thanx so much Noel. I don't have that wind controller mastered but I am trying. I'm not ready for prime time yet.

Thanx. I'm not a master of new age music but I am a student of it. It is one of my favorite genres.

Thanx J&B. Actually my magic garden is walking through our wooded state parks, taking pictures. I find that very relaxing.

Thanx. The wind controller is an Akai EWI USB:

https://www.amazon.com/Akai-Professional-EWI-USB-Electronic/dp/B001MTKAD0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1538165694&sr=8-2&keywords=akai+usb

This has no internal sounds. All of the sounds are computer VSTis.

There is an Akai with internal sounds but it costs more:

https://www.amazon.com/Akai-Professional-Electronic-Instrument-Wireless/dp/B00IJF00GW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1538165813&sr=8-2&keywords=akai+wind+controller

This will also play VSTis.

I chose Akai because it has a pseudo trumpet fingering. I played trumpet and French horn years ago so the transition wasn't too hard. The octave rollers still give me the fits at times.

There are other brands of wind controllers out there so be sure to check them out also.

Hello, Mario

Yes, magic garden indeed.
Very nice ambient music!
The flute via your wind controller is really nice.
The use of each VST instrument is wonderful.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.
