Here's a little waltz for children called " On the carousel ".
I've written french lyrics but my voice is not good enough to sing it well. If someone wants to make an English version an sing it, it would be a pleasure for me. Christian

French lyrics :
1) Sur le manège tourne un enfant
dans le sillage des fils du vent.
REFRAIN :
Il caracole en fredonnant
la valse folle du cheval blanc
la valse folle de ses cinq ans.
2) Dans les nuages monte l’enfant,
part en voyage et redescend.
3) Sur le manège un rire d’enfant,
comme un arpège, fige le temps.

I've tried to translate these lyrics in english :

1) On the carousel, a child is turning,
following sons of the Wind.

CHORUS : He rides huming
the crazy waltz of the white horse,
the crazy waltz of his five years.

2) In the clouds, the child climbs,
travels and gets down.

3) On the carousel, a child's laughter
like an arpeggio is stopping time.

Christian, how interesting to me that you chose to write a carousel piece, but you did not use the typical “music box” kind of instrumentation, but instead chose very eastern types of sounds. Really enjoyed this track.

It is a nice and atmospheric piece of music. I hope somebody who can sing (I cannot) will make a version with vocals (in French or English).

Wow - what a pretty and entrancing tune It is just as playful as it is gorgeous. The only thing missing is some vocals, in my opinion. It got me humming in my head, and I can definitely envision how it could sound with some nice overdubs.

I thought the melody had, in the 1st section at least, a flavour of a carousel style & sound.
The music box part was the corry through for the track.
Lovely sounds.
Lovely melody.

I actually liked the instrumental version more than the one with vocals!
