Oh dont you say you dont want me, cos I know it aint true.
Oh dont you say you forgive me, you aint got nothing to prove.

when Im sleeping at night I dream you stand at my window.
Pull the blankets up over my head.
Got nothing to prove nothing to prove

Oh dont you say you resent me, its just one of your lines.
Oh dont you say you'll desert me, you aint got the time.

when Im sleeping at night I dream you stand at my window.
Pull the blankets up over my head.
Got nothing to prove nothing to prove

This soul pop style features a laid-back trio of bass, drums, and guitar. The drums play a 12-8 groove on hihat, kick, and snare just slightly behind the beat to lend to the emotion of the style. The bass walks through the changes with a tasteful swing. The guitar plays stately rhythmic comping, providing a combination of legato chord riffs and chopping syncopations.

Nice write,

really like the mix, very good

strong clear vocals (missed the accompanying lyrics)

enjoyed the listen,

Kenny
I think your voice is very, very interesting, a sense of sincerity like Elvis, I'm listening a second time, to get a sense of the music. Very enjoyable, draws me in.
Really nice work on this! I'm definitely getting some Elvis vibes on the vocals. Love the progressions and slow sensual groove here. Really smooth, and it flows beautifully. A really concise mix on it too.

Top notch stuff - thanks for sharing smile

Rob

An excellent work out for your stand out vocals. Great sound and performance.
A nice sultry bluesy (Elvis'y...) tune.

Peter
Super vocal Bob. Guitar was excellent. Loved the backtrack. Very well done. Got the Elvis vibe as well.
Loved the 50s feeling from the music and your vocals.

50s ,60s I love that era.

Don't think we can add much to Peter's comments.

There is a lot of heart in this tune and we much enjoyed it!

Many thanks for listening Marty. Rob
Rob,

This has that early 60's Elvis sound to me... Love it! The track selection is really great as well - just enough to let that vocal shine.

So well done.
