Excellent vocal Ed. Lovely hymn
Another fine job with a hymn Ed. I have usually heard this one one done with a 3/4 time signature but you made it work just fine with this one! Thanks, T
Nice, thanks. I enjoyed the slow rhythm.
It is a beautiful song. I like your voice on this!

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!
O what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God,
Born of his spirit, washed in his blood.
This is my story, this is my song,
Praising my Savior all the day long.

Hah, Torrey. Good ear!
I worked to a slower 4/4 because it seemed to fit what
I wanted to say, but honestly, it was a complete oversight.
(I had to hold notes on the melody.) This after having discovered the 2018 "slow waltz" and regretting I had no
more 3/4 to transcribe. Oh, well, the first twelve (Three down, nine to go) will be a draft of the set, so there is still time to revise and experiment. As Will pointed out, the line is "heir of salvation," not "heir to salvation." Thanks for the listens and comments.
Beautifully done... I like the way you do in 4/4 time... By doing so you actually put your own personal stamp upon this lovely hymn.
Nicely done Ed!! Great emotion in your voice. You may try eqing the low end down a bit on the vocal. Enjoyed! Take care. Greg
