Hello friends. Wanted to post something for the season. I have always loved Christmas and Christmas music. Writing Christmas songs can be a lot of fun!

As soon as this started I pictured myself in a lounge listening to a fantastic 4 piece combo! You really captured that feel!

This should be played on all jazz radio stations during Christmas time!

What an outstanding song and performance! I am almost lost for words. You made me have the same feeling as the first time (many decades ago) I heard "What a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong.

Actually, it is largely real memories. The "friend from the war" was based on my dad's lifelong friend who he met in the merchant marines. And, it was actually my grandfather with the super 8 projector.......no candid shots with that thing....and the light bar was so wide it was hard to get down the hall. Great days they were.
