Surfing Pete
I use Band-in-a-Box very intensely in my studio. This songs starting point is the style _Surfup.Sty withe 2472 piano, rythm RocknRoll Kevin Ev 165. But normally I like to play as many parts as possible myself and in this case I played all the parts except the piano, which fit perfect. I made the drums in Toontrack Superior. My DAW is Cubase Pro 10. The main theme is played on a baritone guitar ( Line6 Variax). The solos are played on my Gretch Sparkle Jet and my Gretch Electromatic.
I use a lot of native Cubase effect, - EQ's and compressors and as reverb I use TC VVS3. Delays are Waves. I play in a Rockabilly/RocknRoll band but I enjoyed doing this song myself.

Selvom det ikke er en genre jeg normalt lytter til, så er det ikke svært at høre hvor velproduceret og godt mixet dette track er. Rigtig godt gået!

Håber du vil dele mere af din musik med os andre!

Godt nytår!
Will

lindbjerg, man that was awesome! Everything is great on this! A wonderful clean sound with a really good mix! Some great playing going on here also! Liked those low notes (without string buzz-harder to do than people think). A great track! Thanks, Torrey

Lovely baritone stuff. Fun surf sound too. Well done on your performances. You wrote that you did all but the piano part - cool stuff. Did you do the drums as well?
Posted By: lindbjerg Re: Surfing Pete - 12/27/18 05:12 AM
Thanks, Yes I made the drums in Superiore (Toontrack)

No, some years ago I posted. a song called Lost Land . It was recorded almost 18 years ago. On this track I play sax and flute. The song can still be found.

Hi lindbjerg,

LOVE IT. Made my toes tap right from the start. And, yes, I'm old enough to remember that surf stuff very well and, most of all, that we liked it a lot. And it seems like I haven't changed my mind ever since. Great playing, great sound, great mix. More than just a flawless job: excellent.

Take care,

Stefan
