Thanks Jim!

I don't write in this style much, but people always seem to enjoy a country waltz!

Cheers!

Very pretty song. Super vocal

Thanks, Scott.

I have worked with some great vocalists who make it obvious that mine is a utilitarian vocal skill set. But I'm working and they aren't, so I win!

That's my story and I'm sticking' to it. laugh

Bob, you MUST give us more like this, my wife is hard to please as far as music goes and she loves this song. Would you mind if I passed this song onto a good friend of mine ? I'm pretty sure he'll record it onto an country cd

Furry,

I only ask that the usual citations be carried through any production. Lead sheet available in .pdf for the asking.

My sister lives in Ballachulish and would gladly drive to any place that played a Texas country waltz.

It is interesting to me that after devoting my studies to baroque, classical, romantic, and impressionism, and after writing and performing jazz for years, it is a simple country tune that has garnered such attention. I believe the simplicity of form and harmony encourage a sing-a-long appeal and a sense of ownership for the listener.

Hold fast!
