Forever
© 2019 Kenny Leverett
Night sky clouds are movin’
And it sure feels like rain
You lie so close that I can hear your heartbeat
And I wanna remain
Forever by your side forever
Angels looked down on me
And smiled
You found me
And opened my heart wide
Morning slips thru the curtains
And the sun shines again
Maybe the world can go on without us
Every now and then
Or in my dreams forever
I’m in your arms forever
Evening sun is sinking
Now there’s no sign of rain
You’ve made a home my heart can handle
And I want to remain
Forever

Kenny,
Another masterpiece... incredible songwriting. I just love what you are doing these days...
The vocals and production are top notch - none better.
This song should close "Side A" on your album...
Bob
Man, you are on a roll, Kenny! Just one great song after another.
Love your signature vocal style! Just dripping with tone and emotion.
Excellent track, well done (again!
"Maybe the world can go on without us
Every now and then
Or in my dreams forever"
Kenny, you are writing some KILLER stuff!! (one after another)
They don't come much better than this. GORGEOUS Rock Ballad.
Good BAND. Excellent vocal.
I am a huge fan.

Wow - what a tune! Love the slow, intense groove on this. It flows beautifully and your vocals soar over the backing tracks beautifully. You really displayed a strong understanding of songwriting on this one.
Great work and thanks for sharing
Nice work Kenny, thanks for sharing this! The different elements really glue well together and the mix sounds well polished too. Very captivating lyrics. Thanks for sharing!
Nice rock ballad Kenny! Emotion, performance, writing and production.... the complete package! Thanks, Torrey
Strong, sincere, emotional, real...
Love the lyrics like...
"Maybe the world can go on without us... Every now and then
Or in my dreams forever... I’m in your arms forever"
Excellent images lyrically framed & held together with a simple "Or"
Another good work, Kenny...
I enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed the sparseness of this tune. Lots of power and emotion. Really well done on the mx. Rob
You've got some lyrical nuggets here, like "Angels looked down on me/And smiled," and "Morning slips thru the curtains." Good choices on the instrumentation--works well for you melody and content.
I really loved the sound of the guitar in the intro, and I think the lyrics are quite pretty too. Thank you for sharing with us.
Kenny,
The guitars on your songs are always so crisp and compelling. They really accentuate this song. Really solid in all respects—heartfelt, engaging vocal. Love the lead guitar solo. Killer stuff, Kenny.
My best to you,
Deej
Kenny
Really top quality work. Everything about this one shouts class. A brilliant vocal performance.
Superb!(not much more I can say)
Peter
Hi Kenny ...
I think everything has already been said that crossed my mind and treated my ears. You have a special touch that most dson't have. you are just so good. Talk about a passionate vocal ... this is it.
Keep churning out these nuggets ... i can't wait to click onto a new Kenny L tune. Wishing you the very best ...
Alan
Hey Kenny!
Super clean tune! Very atmospheric and different from others of yours. Instrument line up suits this ballad perfectly. I think, if you will compile an album, this is a great song to "relax" ear of the listener, before more aggressive stuff
Thank you for sharing!
Misha.
You've got some lyrical nuggets here..."Morning slips thru the curtains."
Love that line too.
That intro lead guitar seems a bit out place to me. Too dry maybe. Later on it all blends perfectly. Great sounding drums and bass. Your vocal really shines.
This is one of those songs that you just fall into as it plays. Well done!
Yet another facet of your vocal prowess - the power ballad!!
Heck, if you’re gonna write a great lyric you might as well sing it with passion
And you did.
Great band...that bass is killer
Janice here:
As a true romantic I LOVE your lyric, Kenny, and your vocals and band are perfect. There are many mornings when the sun comes through our windows that I have those thoughts of “can’t we stay here forever and let the world go on without us for a little while?!” Soulful and sweet.

Thanks Deryk,
I appreciate the kind words
and especially the strong understanding part,
I've written for so long that it comes thru me, if it's good or bad
it happens quickly and then I read it to see if it makes sense,
thanks for the listen

Hey Rob,
I appreciate your listen and kind words
Prototype of a great romantic rock ballad ala Aerosmith. Chord progression has some enjoyable moments. I like the dry sound still mixed nicely bright, acoustic bass feels natural. Strong interpretation. Very minor distraction is that the transfer from the intro guitar to the vocals doesn't sound seamless.
Janne
Great love song. I think the somewhat sparse backing and slow tempo bring out and complement the fragility in your vocals. I'll have to play this one for mine.
Very cool intro. Another awesome vocal. Nice change up. Just a beautiful song. Well done. Guitar was excellent...

Hey Deej,
Thanks for the listen, sometimes I put a little compression or EQ on the guitars, mostly
for this song I didn't add anything.

Another great one Kenny. One of your best vocals I think.
Really spine tingling production.
You are on a roll man!
WOW AGAIN!!!!! This song just oozes emotion!! Band is the perfect bed for a killer vocal. Even the drums are sad. At the risk of repeating everyone else, and myself, YOU ARE KILLING IT!!!! Take care. Greg

Nice and emotional rock ballad!
It's great to sing strongly repeating back and forth between minor key and major key in your own way.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.
