Oh yes...that is a happy-making piece. Lovely tone and a great melodic line. Loved the happy, busy perc and the short horn solos.
Hi Torrey,
Wow!!!
This is such a good listen. The production has an amazing clarity as I'm sitting here listening to it. Kudos to you for composing and such a wonderful piece of me.
I'm a fan!
All the best,
Noel
Torrey
Some superb melodic playing and an overall excellent sound and composition.
Excellent work.
Peter
This is great Torrey! Love the groove on this and the production is outstanding!
The crowd noise is also very cool. That Godin sounds tremendous!
Bob
Torrey,
Very relaxing tune. Wonderful arrangement and playing! You got a fun photo to accommodate this tune too
I enjoyed it much!
P.S. Just curious, are you familiar with the band Acoustic Alchemy?
Thank you for sharing!
Misha.
A wonderful way to get the morning started...
A happy little tune with crowds cheering...
And your guitar playing is superb...
I really enjoy hearing your compositions!
great composition,
very nice guitar work, man!
a jazzy, funky flow

all make a very enjoyable listen,
Kenny
Torrey ...
This is terrific, engaging composition. Loved the hint of scat with the lead guitar on the chorus. The horns are nice, too!
I absolutely loved the tone on your guitar! So perfect for the mood of the song. The crowd noise behind the sax before the last guitar lead was a real nice touch! And there's no need to mention the great percussions as they speak quite well for themselves. Beyond excellent, my fgriend. What a real treat ....
Alan
Very up Torrey.
As usual, it's your additions that make it a happening thing.
the nylon playing is great.
Tangmo, thanks for the listen and comment! I really appreciate that! T
Hi Torrey,
This is Excellent!
Lovely lines on the guitar, and great tone too. Also loved the percussion track you did and the background vocals.
Great track, just what I needed to listen to for my first song of the day
Torrey,
This is excellent. The mix is outstanding. Everything sits well.
What a nice melody (and repeating theme). Nice guitar work.
Seems like everyone is finding "new and different" drum tracks in BIAB these days. Nice!
Very enjoyable listen!

Very well done
Love the groove on this, and thought the progressions were awesome. A very interesting choice for percussion, but it really helped distinguish it and give it a modern edge. It's a really fun tune that I can imagine would fill a dancefloor in minutes flat.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Noel for those kind words!! They mean a lot to me!! T
Thanks Peter for taking the time to listen and comment! I appreciate it! T
Very atmospheric, literally and figuratively...can smell the sea breeze!
Wonderful melodic playing and all your contributions + BiaB make for a fascinating band.
The nylon is so cool.
The fretless bass is a great choice!
And the mix sounds right in the pocket on our monitors.
Superb...all the way around.

That's a very lovely dream. I've been dying for a beach day myself. Soon. it's still too cold out right now for that.
Awesome song! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Bob! I always appreciate your comments! T
Torrey,
This is about as good as it gets! Seriously strong arrangement here. Not only can I not think of anything I don't like about this one, I'm having a hard time deciding what I like the most about it. The tempo is perfect (so important), the groove is right there, the effects are stunning, the scat with the lead is perfect. I could go on and on.
VERY well done, my friend!
Steve
Very cool tune Torrey. Love the sound of your guitar. There is a fellow who busks at a food market down town that plays a guitar just like that. They have such a full warm tone to them.. Super back track. Loved it. Well done..
Yes, this is a bliss-inducing piece of music--a soundtrack for a person's tropical vacation. I'll echo what the others have said about the guitar--fabulous!
Thanks Misha for the kind words! Oh yes I am very aware of Acoustic Alchemy! I have listened to them many times!
Thanks Jim! I appreciate you taking time to have a listen and comment! T
Thanks Kenny! Your comments mean a lot to me! T
Thanks Alan! Your generous comments mean more to me than you know!! You are such an encouragement to everyone here! T
Thank you. That was a delight. Can you share anything about what you did beyond the real tracks? Did you use RealBand, or another DAW, and effects like reverb or whatever?
Thank you,
Sam

Thanks Floyd! I so appreciate how much time you give to other artists to listen to their work and give helpful tips! I highly value it! T
You always do such great compositions. Love your music!! Sometimes I gloss over instrumentals, because I'm a lyric person, but this one almost has me up and dancing.
I think I missed this in jumping pages...bad timing. WOW!!!! Love the energy of this....sweet, melodic, inspiring!! Reminds me of Spirogira (spelling), Rippingtons, or something in that vein. A truly DELIGHTFUL listen!!!! Love it Torrey!!! Take care. Greg
Thanks Deryk for the listen and comments! I truly appreciate it! T

Thanks sg19305 for taking time to listen and comment! I appreciate it! T
Thanks Buttrey for your interest in the track! On this one I sent each RealTrack out to Studio One as a wav file and applied effects such as reverb, eq and compression. I added my own tracks such as guitar, vocals, synths and percussion. Then mixed it all down added a master eq, compression, binaural panning and a limiter. Then sent it out as a stereo file to upload to SoundCloud.
Thanks Donna for all the nice words! I appreciate it! T
Thanks Greg for the listen and the nice words! T
Torrey,
