Hi All,
This is a new song called [Link no longer valid]
There’s a cold front
Coming over me
There’s a morning
Plain as can be
There’s a woman
She’s on my mind
Runs like a river
Down the mountainside
Far from the city
She’s fading fast
The rain is falling
First drop to last
There’s a cold front
Coming to our town
There’s a hail storm
Ice on her gown
There’s a woman
She’s painted grey
Moves like a twister
Then moves away
A final eclipse
She’s riding high
The sun is shining
Make the day dry
There’s a cold front
Coming to my door
There’s a spring rain
Before the pour
There’s a woman
She’s flying south
Never looking back
Moon is coming out
Scratch of the record
She’s skipping beats
The day is over
Before it repeats

As always - thanks for listening!
Bob
Man, I just love your music! It never fails to move me.
Vocal is awesome as always, did you use more reverb than you normally do? Sounds great.
Nice dynamics, the way you brought in the electric.
You must have almost enough material for a CD by now I think?
Really enjoyed this, well done
Bob,
your narratives are always a welcome hear and listen.
The arrangement is very appropriate and the solo divides yet joins the halves of the song.
I've mentioned the FX on your vocals several times so won't go there this time.
Good one!
Another VERY cool song, Bob. You have developed such a wonder "Robert Dean Sound" through the last year or so...
Nice arrangement throughout. The bass seemed a bit "jerky" in the opening verse. It worked fine once the full band joined it.
Your vocal on this is excellent.
Excellent write.
fj
Great write...love the way the "cold front" progresses - over me, to our town, to my door.
Yep as all, including us say, you have a signature sound but it never restrict you in any way and, in fact, serves to leave the listener wanting more.
Great production and arrangement -- nice build. And your vocal nailed the mood. Just the right edge to deliver the mood.
We much enjoyed it!
J&B
Floyd,
Thanks so much - always appreciate your support. It means a lot.
I fixed that bass.
Bob
Bob, this one starts off really grabbing the listener and never let's go! Great job with your vocal (again)!! Thanks, Torrey
I fixed that bass.
Bob
Yes! Now it's perfect! You are doing killer music, Bob...
Chilly… I can really feel the cold front approaching, but still I hope it won't replace the sunny and warm Easter days here in Finland
Vocals are great as always. You have loaded that electric guitar with strong emotions, in this kind of simple arrangement it really cuts deep.
Janne
love it when I come here and find something new
by an artist that I really like and admire
as always the sparse backing works perfectly
like those drums and that altcountrymoody guitar
There’s a woman
She’s painted grey
Moves like a twister
Then moves away
I love those lines, so good!
Thank you for sharing this rsdean! The different elements really glue well together and the chord progression is quite nice. The lyrics are intriguing and evoke a mood. Well done!
Terrific song...
Great lyrics...
I love your vocals...
And its really well done...
I enjoyed listening!
Really nice work on this - it sounds really sincere, lush, and emotional. Your vocals match the backing tracks perfectly. It flows gorgeously and really hits that soft spot for me
Thanks for sharing
Dave,
That is very kind of you and very appreciated - thanks!
Yes, I added a touch more reverb to my vocal - felt it would help with the sound I was going for. Thanks also for the comments on the electric guitar.
There may be a CD one of these days.
Thanks again,
Bob
This one gets in and stays there. I like it! I might borrow your lead style, it makes it sound very good! I wish I could come up with the word I want, but I can't. I like what you did with this.
Bob,
This is really splendid. This might be my favorite of yours so far, to replace--WOODSTOCK!
Remember that one???
The arrangement is awesome the way you have mapped it out. I am totally jealous dude!
Fantastic lyrics and vocals. Spectacular man.
Ray,
Thanks - much appreciated! Enjoying your new one with Torrey as well.
Bob
Bob,
excellent lyrics and performance!
I enjoyed my listen.
Thank you!
Misha.
She's uncatchable, but worth the effort. Powerful imagery with a power-worthy backing and voice. Much enjoyed.
Another great one, terrific imagery, ya made a fan out of me.
Hi Bob,
I love the metaphor of a 'Cold Front' and how you've used it. I really liked the journey you just took me on.
All the best,
Noel

Wow!! Always love your lyrics and the metaphors you use. Are you also a writer or poet? You have just a wonderful way with words. Also, love the music and your vocals. Another great one.
Love the way the arrangement builds.....perfect!!! Really infectious tune! Some wonderful lyrics. Particularly liked these:
There’s a cold front
Coming to our town
There’s a hail storm
Ice on her gown
Great job on this Bob!! Take care. Greg
Kenny,
I appreciate that - thanks so much.
I've really been enjoying your new stuff this year...
Bob
Bob,
As always, a great write! I have been out of pocket for a couple months, but I hope I am back to stay this time. Every time I have been out for very long, I always look for anything you have written in my absence. Your writing ALWAYS inspires and encourages me to write better lyric. For that I always, look for your work, and I thank you for doing what seem to do so effortlessly.
Another good one!
Steve
Great track Bob. Love the guitar in this. Nice job on the lyrics and production.
Rob
Bob,
Another brilliantly put together song—I continue to marvel at how clear and defined your guitars sound—they really resonate on that instrumental interlude. Terrific vocal! Not sure how I feel about this song fading out rather than resolving itself, but that’s an artistic choice—and you’ve probably made the right one here.
You’re tuning out some outstanding work, Bob. I’ve been enjoying the listens.
Kind regards,
Deej
Jim,
Thank you - much appreciated!
Bob
A very cool song Bob, I loved the ominous-sounding lyrics and the 'sprangy' guitar was just perfect!
