The other night I was going though some of my songs that hadn't made a soundtrack to and this one caught my attention, and I just knew I had to do it quartet style, one with a big finish!!

Jesus Died On Calvary

They led him down, that road to Golgotha,
crucified him with two thieves by his side.
They laugh and mocked him, and gambled for his clothes,
one even pierced him in his side.

Chorus:

Jesus died on Calvary,
he took the pain for you and me.
No greater love can ever be found,
Jesus died on Calvary.

Three days after, they found the tomb was empty,
he had risen from the grave.
Someday soon, he'll appear in a cloud of glory,
and his children he will save.

Repeat Chorus:

Super song with a great message.

It sounds like you were really stretching your vocal chords on this!

Keep singing songs of praise.

This was an experiment that did really stretch my vocal cords, so I will be doing a remake in a more comfortable key!!

Nicely done, Ronnie smile Your vocals certainly caught me off guard on the first chorus and beyond, but it works tremendously well. The harmonies are rich and really attention grabbing, and it's nicely catchy as always.

Thanks for sharing!
