Hi all,
For this song, Patrick Fournerat has written lyrics and he sings.

https://soundcloud.com/christian-devienne/a-guaracha-na-cuba

Here's an approximate translation :

We were walking on the lagoon
Dusk
Walking in the sand of dunes
Night owls
Nights were populated by drums
Flashes
Talkative like songs of love
Eloquence
Around braziers
Eating our feet in the water
We shared caipirinhas
Cuba Libre
And puffs of maconha
Unbalanced

And we were doing the latina fiesta
Dancing guaracha in Cuba
In guaracha na Cuba ...

We spoke in all languages
clumsy
A mixture of yin and yang
Juvenile
We bathed in the saving ocean
Naked under the moon like traveling children
Color of the day
At dawn no more speeches
Magic moment so fragile
Privilege
Time becoming motionless

Enjoyed that with the nice choice of RT's -- need to check out that bass.

Nice mix too.

Enjoyed it...wish we spoke the language but still enjoyed the images from your translation.

The work you two bring together is smooth and cool.
there's a bit more sibilance than usual but not a problem I'm sure.

Very pretty. What is it that sounds like a penny whistle at the start? Nice.

Hi Chris (and Patrick),

The sound of this song is nice and the voice is good. You have also chosen good instruments for this song.
I only have a little 'but': if you want to sing about a love-affair in Cuba, the song sounds too subdued. In my opinion it needs more swing and excitement in the voice(s) and instruments. as I said, the voice is very nice, good timbre, but I won't fall in love (if I was the subject)with the singer.
But don't pay much attention to my words if other listeners don't agree with me.

And isn't that flute a recorder? I liked how it fits in the melody.
So: très bon!

Nice work on this one smile Love the groove and how gentle and easy to take it is. It flows beautifully, and has a really nice summery vibe to it.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Janice, Bud, Ray, Joanne, Birchwood and Deryk.
