I am trying to write a few songs for 50 90 this year. I know I am not getting to gt anywhere close to 50 but, hey, even one or two is better than none!

These lovely lyrics were written by Cindy Prince. The inspiration for the melody came from Kate Rusby.

The style used was BABBLE (Babbling Slow Americana)

Lyrics:
Thinking of You
© 2019 Cindy Prince

When the skies are cloudy
When the skies are blue
When there's only the moon shining
I am thinking of you

When the snow is falling
When the sun shines bright
When the tiny green leaves are growing
Thinking of you feels right

Chorus
When I blink
I think of you
When I shave
Yes, that too
When I talk
When I walk
Every day anew
I am thinking of you

When the rain is pouring
When the leaves start to fall
When a strong wind is blowing
Thinking of you is my all

Repeat chorus

Hi Joanne,

This is a very lovely song with a subtle, but very nice harmony.
The instruments are nicely chosen. They fit in very well. At first glance (hearing) I had some doubts with the Americana percussion, but that vanished when listening again.

Greetings,
Hans

A pleasant song, Joanne. Nice job on the flute part.

(Not sure why, but the main vocal seems to "lean a bit left" in my speakers. Might just be perception.) Good mix.

We've used those drums also and really like them.

The flute was a nice addition.

Lovely harmony blend.

Well done Joanne!

Joanne,
Very pretty melody (Kate Rusby is a great inspiration!). Good uplifting lyrics and your shining vocals...a good arrangement too with that damped sound of the drums underneath.
Such enjoyable music.

Enjoyable Listen. Flute has such a unique sound - to me a good addition when you want something slightly different without being jarring.
