Mr. Shaw...

With your recent posts, I think you have succeeded in creating something like an oasis of serenely spirtual music within the Users' Forum. The songs have the feeling of watching light break through clouds. Your guitar-playing reminds me of sing-alongs at camping experiences I had as a child, and the Real Tracks sound heaven-sent.

I'm always happy to listen to your music, sir smile !!!

Thanks, Forum Friends, for the listens and comments. I think I may have found my BB niche in the Bent Piano style of Brent Mason and John Jarvis.
The guitar sound, Scott, is mostly the replacement of of a PRS SE Santana with a PRS Standard. What a difference in tone and playability! Also, learning to exploit the EQ and Comp features of the Tascam deck as it goes along...
...bluage and cliftond, Can't thank you enough smile

Hi Ed,

I really like your presentation of this very fine old hymn. The gentle, laid-back lilt that you perform with is such a restful and peaceful rhythm to listen to. I enjoyed my journey.

Regards,
Noel

Nice.

I think you are yet to post a spiritual that is not one
of the songs we both grew up with.

Thanks for the memories,

J&B

A classic, Ed. And a presentation to match.

You are getting your volume up better these days (although there is a funny drop at the 2:04 mark). For my taste, the acoustic guitar has a bit too much reverb.

Thanks Floyd. My fault on that volume. Thanks for pointing out the reverb. Probably have heard it so much I lost sight of it.
