I only hoped to hear more singers in the chorus to complete that Gospel feeling, but your strong voice compensates a lot.
About the lyrics I hoped we try making a better world than it is, like you stated in the 1st verse. Crossing over is something I rather delay for some time...

As Noel said, you're a bit slippery on the actual meter of the song, and you do some cool rhythms that catch the ear.

I thought the lyric We shall see Jesus, that heavenly bride was an interesting, because usually Jesus is described as the bridegroom - but that doesn't rhyme with ride, does it?
