Hi all,
Here's a french tango !
Philippe Janin has composed the melody, written the lyrics and he sings.

https://soundcloud.com/christian-devienne/adele-3

Here's an approximate translation :

Adele is a beautiful woman,
she is smiling at me.
I watch at her like a scientist.
It goes without saying that on her bed I’m lying down.
I expect her to undress and I am gently swaying.
Her gestures are so graceful.

Chorus: Adele stirs my desire
and I want to fly with her now, and I want to fly with her now.

Does Adele have as many lovers as they say downtown ?
This question horrifies me, by the way.
I’m staying here in love with her, I like all her slow gestures.
The movement of her laces reveals my childhood dreams.

Adele attaches herself all the time.
Eternal feelings are inside her.
That’s her Chemin de Compostelle .
This beautiful lady looks at me so sweetly that I can’t resist.
From time to time I'm crazy about her and I love her all the time.

Christian & Philippe

Nice. Cool backing tracks. nicely mixed.

The prominent bass is a good choice.

It was nice to have the French lyric to follow. Cool to SEE the rhymes...

Enjoyed the listen.

I don't recall hearing a tango recently, and certainly not one in French.

Does Adele have as many lovers as they say downtown ?
This question horrifies me, by the way.

Ha! Great lyric.

I enjoyed listening. smile

Christian, Philippe and yourself have delivered a remarkable song.

I'm not sure of the French lyrics, but the English translation is both evocative and sensual.

Nicely done.

Nice work - I love the groove on it, and the tango vibes make for a delightful listen. The vocals flow gorgeously over the instrumentation too, and I thought the mix was concise and professional.

Thanks for sharing smile

Thanks Floyd, Ember, David, Trev and Deryk.
I like to try some musical styles I'm not used to and Tango is one of these. And Philippe has got the voice to sing it ! Christian

This is very cool - excellent music, melody & narrative but the vocal recording isn't up to the rest:
there seems to be a lot of room sound, (could be reverb added), as well as it sounds as if Phillippe is moving to the mic during the 1st line.
Terrific song regardless.

Thanks to Ray (rayc) who has remixed Philippe's voice. Christian

The last two messages are a bit confusing...

Anyway... I like the song... well done, Chris!

Christian (and Phillipe),

Very nice number . . . can see a field of ballroom dancers tango-ing away to this one. Very crisp vocal sitting over a perfectly mixed production. Love the acoustic guitar solo. Well done!

My best to you both,

Deej

That sounds great Chris! I loved what you did with the chord structure and with the melody! Nice choice of instrumentation! Thanks, Torrey
