Well, I moved to NorCal from the Baja got my studio set up finally and hired a couple of background singers and here we are. I can't say enough about BIB, I keep finding new ways to use it.

Anyway, I just finished "The End Of The Road" and I would love some feedback to fine tune it. I pulled instruments from about 6 real tracks jumbled them together and bought my "background Vocalists" for $29 and made this. The live tracks are the Bass (my passion), Organs and the lead Vocal. All the rest is BIB real tracks.

Rick,
You and the singers sound good!
Nice song, well put together.
I've been thinking about hiring some singers myself.

Best $29 I've spent in a while !!!

I enjoyed this but think the reverb or similar effect on the vocal that spreads it wide is a little OTT in the intro - it also emphasizes the sibilant stuff.
I liked the Midnight Cowboy/Everybody's Talking reference.
The 1st hit of Bvox were a bit loud.

I appreciate that input. Fixed the Bvoc working on the other. Thanks.

I love the guitar intro - I'd swear it was custom to the song.

Delayed entrance of the drum is super, as well as tag after the "fake" ending.

Good lyrics, nice arrangement.

All in all, a pleasant listen. smile

Really well done - the arrangement is top notch, and the mixing job is superb. It all flows perfectly together, and the singers did an outstanding job.

Thanks for sharing smile

You've written a good sounding interesting tune...
I really enjoyed listening...
But I'll have to leave any "feedback to fine tune it" to others
Who have better ears & recording chops than myself.

I just enjoy listening creations of the songwriters smile

I agree with the others--a very enjoyable song.

Nice job, it was subtle which I appreciated. Took me a couple listens to find the Freddie Neil reference (going where the weather suits my clothes), nice touch!

Cool song!! Really nice vibe to it! The reverb on the lead vocal is pretty heavy, and I love reverb. BG singers sound great. "Goin where the weather suits my clothes"....know that line! Well done! Take care. Greg

Excellent tune. Guitar was very cool. Harmonies really accented the vocal. Loved your vocal and tone in your voice well done

Nice to get some props from the heavy hitters on this site. Thank you all for your input. I strive to make every song as good as I can and every day get a little better at it. (I like reverb sometimes too, I laid it on thick in this one and I left it)

Thanks All
Rick
