Hi all,
Here's a french song. Philippe Janin has written the lyrics and he sings. The lyrics are not easy to translate. This song is about a woman who loses everything in her life. But she gets also lost in her lover's eyes and that's her way to get better.

What a cool band!

It's rare to hear a tuba nowadays and you used it well.

The vocal melody sounds great with the backing tracks.

Fun listen and we enjoyed it!
Thanks Janice and Bud.
The tuba is here to strengthen the Dixieland color of this song. Christian
Hi Christian,

As always a nice track from you. Reminded me of Django and gypsy jazz.

I do understand a little French, but not this song..(too fast singing) smile

Thanks for sharing!

Love it!

It makes me thing of of finding some old '78 records gathering dust in the corner of some antique shop, putting one on the gramophone, and being transported to another time.

Philippe can certainly sing fast and make it sound effortless - impressive!
Nicely done - the tuba fits in the mix perfectly, and I'm loving the old school vibes here. David's description is very apt and descriptive - this tune definitely puts me in another time as well.

Thanks for sharing smile
Beautiful. A real "French chanson" :-) . The lyrics are also beautiful. I don't get to listen to such great French chansons any more, lately - so thank you for the experience and, of course, well done to all involved!

Yes I though of Django also. You captured that era perfectly.

Adding that tuba was brilliant!
