Wow. This song came at the perfect time for me - I was having a bit of an "argument with God" tonight and then I stumbled on this song. Wow. But enough about me. The song is nothing short of genius. The lyrics are pure magic, your voice's depth is extraordinary and makes the song what it is - it's so believable as the father talking to his son. A superb, professional job ... with a message and lyrics that go that extra mile and make this not just good but outstanding. Superb. Bravo.

for many years.

The vocal is very rich in sound and the sincerity of the lyric is

Ronnie, thanks for giving it a spin. I appreciate it,Tom Scott, the thing about moving from guitar to something with a bar is intonation. It really develops your ear. With today’s world of online tutorials it is a huge advantage that I didn’t have 50 yrs ago when I started playing steel. It took at least 2-3 years before I had the courage to play with anyone.
