I added a new link with a new mix took out the 12 string could not fix the mix with it hope this is better
Hi everyone got through another song. all the music is using band in a box 2019 using the slow classic rock w/held guitar 12 string. pulled down the instrument tracks into Audacity and played with them there to pull them out for parts of the verse and bring them into the chorus. My vocals I recorded on my Roland BR-1180. so I used 3 recording devices/programs but they worked for me and I like the result. Hope you all do too thanks love this forum

That 12 string doesn't sound quite right - just a little behind the beat.
Everything else is fine.
The vocal is a little loud and the reverb/room sound is different to the band but that's a common enough problem in BIAB.
The vocal is terrific.

Lovely vocals. Very rich. Nice lyrics. The band sounds good but as rayc said, the 12 string seems a bit off beat. It's probably an easy fix.

I quite agree the 12 string was not working so i removed it and played around with the mix hope it is better. still learning.

Hi David.
My opinion is only my own preference and I am not saying how the song should be , and I am wrong more often than not.
I think the arrangement needs more light and shade to accentuate the chorus . The guitar sounds good in the chorus but is jarring in the first verse . Also only use the organ in the chorus and add a few more instruments in the chorus (strings maybe) to beef it up. Also some harmonies on "AND I'LL WATCH YOU BREATHE" would really emphasize what the song is about.
It is a really good song and of course , you have a gift with your voice.

Cool song!! Very soulful vocal......I would make it a little wet though. Sounds like a Zane guitar? Very well done!! Take care. Greg
