For all the Poor lost souls who think they are too far gone
to be saved. You're wrong lad/lass...

"Never Too Far For Grace"

Verse 1
Prodigal son
You're a long way from home
Believe me I know
Cause, I've been there before
There's nowhere you can run
From the things you've done
No place you can hide
From yourself-anymore

Refrain
There's people you've hurt
And there's bridges you've burned
And truths that you've got to face

Chorus
You can change the road you're on
No you're never too far gone
Cause Jesus, he still saves!
He'll meet you where you are
No, you're never too far
Never too far
Too far for Grace

Verse 2
Now you lament
Over time you misspent
You wonder just why
It took so long to see
Your reprobate mind
It left your spirit blind
The things you exalted drove you
To your knees

Refrain
The truth needs to be told
About the lies you've been sold
How you can't go back to that place

Chorus
You can change the road you're on
No, you're never too far gone
Cause Jesus, he still saves!
He'll meet you where you are
No, you're never too far
Never too far
Too far for Grace

Chorus
(Spoken)
There's still time to change the road you're on, lad
With Jesus, there's no such thing as a lost case
He still saves!

He'll meet you where you are
No, you're never too far
Never too far
Too far for Grace

Loved the accent, and the celtic sound.

Well produced and performed.

Peter
The arrangement, until the mandolin came in, reminded me of acoustic era Neil young. Your voice is fabulous and the progression is lovely.
Great song. Super story told in the melody as well. Enjoyed my listen
Bawb,

Not a fan of celtic music, but a huge fan of your vocals!

Tracks are appropriately done.

Always look forward to your posts...

Move over Shane MacGowan- you have been out sung by Bawb!
This rolls along in the fine tradition of a rousing Celtic pub song... though I guess the message might get you in a discussion there.
Love your vocals on this!

It's funny that you mention my brother by another mother... HA!
We're both from a dirty ole town..

And maybe a rowdy pub is exactly where this song is needed...
For those who are well have no need for a doctor.
Thanks for listening and your comments. They are appreciated.
Nice! I’ve listened to a fair bit of Celtic music over the years. My main thing is blues, and to me Celtic music has the same sort of passion and feel to it.

Really well done, love your voice!
Hello BAwb,

I enjoyed this mix with harmonica (which is rare) and mandolin. Everything is well synchronized. The content of the lyrics shows us that life is not a long calm river but that everyone can improve despite their faults. Well done.

Kindly regard

Mission accomplished with the Celtic vibe.

Written and sung with passion. Like Dave we are
blues folks and about any genre sung with soul and
passion like this is gonna be in our wheelhouse.

Well done!

J&B

PS Bud's DNA is predominantly Celtic. Odd for a many generations southern US
boy but maybe that's why we like Celtic music smile
LOVE your passionate vocals!! The song is well put together from every angle......love the Celtic feel!! Take care. Greg
Love the passion in your vocals.
