Here is another one of my resurrections. I re-did the guitar backtracks and switched all the original midi tracks to real tracks.
It was also remixed in Studio One.

Really pretty, Scott. The band is just enough, providing essential momentum and framing that lovely progression. I like the way those ascending changes lead solidly into the two-chord vamp. Play was clean and expressive. Between it and the extensions, it's a really sad and dreamy piece.
Scott,
A good re-do. Guitar tone is nice. Backing sounds good.
As Tangmo said... "dreamy".
Nice.

Ethereal, cinematic and lovely -- chops and tone.
The minimalist backing really accented the guitar.
Excellent!

Sounds good, Scott. A piece to drift away on.

Scott
Could easily pick your playing in a guitar line-up on this one.
Very nice, pleasant, fluid and well played.
Peter

Hi Scott,
The music fits perfectly with the title - shades of sadness and melancholy in the track.
Some nice guitar phrasing and a beautiful sound from the Eventides.
Enjoyed.
ROG.
Although the title is about missing someone, to me this sounds very happy, like a paradise song: sun, birds, bees and flowers. Enjoyable chording and playing, actually you are painting images with your guitar. Very good band, I like how you bring the organ forward in the chorus section.

Thanks everyone for checking out the song. I really appreciate your comments
Hi Scott,
Your skills on that lead guitar are impressing!
It all sounded so easy, but I know it isn't easy at all to play like you do.
The melodyline in the song is nice, sweet and melancholic at the same time. It could be the songtitle pushed my feelings in that direction, but who cares as long as it is a very nice song!
Well done!
Hans
Very psych dream scape like BUT the beginning is sudden...might do with a minor fade in...
The drum fill at 0.50 seems odd tonally as well as seemingly very narrow.
Lovely playing.
Hi Scott I enjoy your instrumentals love the change 0.48 and guitar work thanks for sharing Eric
Thank again everyone for checking out the song. I do appreciate your comments.
Thanks Ray I will have another look at the intro to the song. I originally did this song 8 years ago and was just getting started with BIAB and was using mostly midi backtracks. The selection of real tracks got better and better over the years. I did struggle however with matching real tracks to the previous midi files. This happened with a few of the songs I rerecorded and remixed. Quite a few of the songs are very different from the originals. So of my old melodys did not fit in as well and had to come up with new ones to compensate.
A lovely dreamscape Scott.
The change at .45 is especially fine.
The B3 swirls around nicely. Your tone and ways of capturing and mixing your guitar, gets better all the time.
Robert
Scott,
Meditative and relaxing tune. Very good guitar playing.
Thank you for sharing!
Misha.
I really enjoyed this one. It's so hauntingly beautiful. It's one of those tunes where you put it on repeat and never get tired of hearing it.
Thanks again for checking out the song. Your comments are very much appreciated
Lovely guitar playing. No better sound to me then the electric guitar played like that. Good use of the band too.
Very nice.
Good call on switching tracks.
Vic
Really expressive and melodic guitar playing. It really conveys a sense of melancholy, yet tinged with sweetness. Very enjoyable.
