Hi everyone.
Just finished this 12/8 piano rock ballad using RealTracks of a similar name as well as SampleTank 3 ,I think it works well.

I know I shouldn’t have said it out loud
Making my voice stand out from the crowd

We both said things we shouldn’t have said
I know I always let my heart rule my head
But I think we need to talk

Will you take me back?
Don’t leave me out in the cold
I need you so much baby
Don’t say never or maybe. (X2).

Never let there be any doubt.

Nice band.
Love the simple emotion in the lyrics.
Vocals are spares but to the point!

Hi Riccled.
The music is in 12/8 but the metre of your lyrics is all off.
The easiest way to line your lyrics up is to count : One and a Two and a Three and a Four and a.
Eg your first line "I know I shouldn’t have said it out loud" - try placing the syllables on each beat (1)know (2) should (3)said (4)loud.
Pros : Your voice suits the narrative of the song ,the backing is very good and the 12/8 is refreshing change from the usual four on the floor.
Cons : Song length (too long)
This song has good potential if you could line the syllables up to the beats.

An interesting production, Riccledy. I always enjoy 3s, 6s, 12s. Well done. I also like Gary Weder's comments above. The meter of the lyric doesn't match. On the other hand, you present it almost as a spoken-word plea.
