This is a harmonica instrumental. It's short. It's old style jazz on the little ten-hole. I used my old favorite, the jazfred RS. The changes are quite well known in New Orleans lore.

You should play harp more often on your songs, Bob, you're a good player.

Enjoyed!

Oooo, you're a bluesy note-bender, too, Bob!! Well done, man. I agree with... well, everyone who hears this. You should play it more in your songs. A good friend of mine plays Charlie Parker songs on a diatonic. Sheesh. This definitely reminds me of some cool smoky-room, ceiling-fan jazz.

Very cool tune! I'm no expert, but your playing sounds damn fine to me!!! Enjoyed!! Take care. Greg

Hello TuneMonger,

It's really you playing that harmonica? Terrific!
You reminds me of Toots Thielemans, from Belgium.
And I liked that song as well, very relaxed with a nice double bass.

I hope you make more songs with this instrument!

Harmonica is such an fun and underrated instrument. I'm glad to see someone having some fun with one! Thanks for sharing with us.

Terrific. We have a friend who plays a fine blues harp and we've learned to
appreciate the different tones.

This is great playing and full rich tone.

Nice band too!

Man, this sounds cool!

The harmonica draws it away from its jazz roots towards blues - just the tone of it. made me think of the fellow who played during the interval in The Goon Show on radio.

nice...i also liked your Azure Brazil, which is actually based on Blue Bossa, right?

Cheers from Germany,
Uwe

Sounded good. I felt like I was walking along with Huck Finn down by the Mississippi.

Senhor Pescador (Ewe), you win the prize! Azure Brasil is indeed using the chords to Blue Bossa. What an ear you have! I used only chord tones on it.

Storyville Postcards uses the chords to Basin Street Blues, and is about the famous red light district in New Orleans. I pretty much stuck to the blues scale for this one.

Thanks to everyone who commented on this one, I really appreciate it!
