Carl
Hi camog,
It is a composition very vaporous and light in its melody and its sounds. It is very pleasant to listen to and well done. The sound of the guitar is really good. Well done.
Kindly regard

Really really lovely Carl. What's not to love about it ? Very simple but such a nice uncluttered backing
Thanks once again Derochette, I'm really chuffed you like my recent tunes - thanks very much for listening and for commenting!
Very best regards, Carl
Hiya Graham, thanks a lot for your nice comment - glad you like it, yes do play it 'you know where' on Saturday!!
Had the accordion plugin hidden away for ages on my hard drive - fun to reawaken the cassotto sound (as far as you can in software). Not easy to play with a volume pedal in place of the bellows - had to fiddle around a lot with volume envelopes on individual accordion notes in Logic Pro X to get a sense of realism, but hope it came out ok!!
Cheers Graham, C
Carl,
A pretty instrumental—very clean and crisp, light on the ear. Well done!
All my best,
Deej
Hi Deej, I'm really pleased you like my 'Love Again' tune - many thanks for your comment and for listening!!!
Best regards from the UK, Carl
As Graham said, a
lovely bit of music.
Is that an actual nylon string you're playing lead on? Nicely miked and played!
Hi David, thanks very much for your nice comment - yes it's a Takamine Hirade TH90 which I've had for years!
Recorded in a tiny bedroom with a Microtech Gefell M300 condenser mic pointing roughly to the 12th fret of the neck - I use GoldenAge Pre 73 preamps and Comp 54 compressors, and Liquidsonics Cinematic Rooms Prof & Seventh Heaven Prof reverbs! Mastered with IK Multimedia T-Racks Max!
Thanks for listening David, best regards - Carl
Absolutely stunning work with this, so stunningly peaceful. Proof that less really is more. I wouldn't change a thing - thanks for sharing
Ah that's great Deryk - many thanks for your nice comment and for listening!!
Very best regards, Carl

Thanks for the information!
I know that guitars can be a bear to record, so color me impressed! Lack of skill and laziness make me fall back to
Nylon String VSTis. Clearly this isn't a problem for you!
I've heard a lot of good things about the Seventh Heaven reverb, especially from people who do orchestral mock-ups. Cinematic Rooms is out of my price range, though.
Thanks David - I have just replied to your comment on my "Adorned" tune, hope that answers any questions?
My setup is really quite modest (compared to many) - decent basic equipment is best, after that it's down to how you use it!!
I'm no tech head - but if I can help, then feel free to ask!!
Best, Carl
Lovely, carl. One of those tunes that makes you close your eyes, sway your head, and every once in awhile raise your eyebrows with feeling. The accordion was a great touch. I really like the way add to the mix in very subtle ways. You make tunes that can listened to over and over. Over.
Hi Marty - really glad you like my tune, appreciate your comment very much, thank you!!!
Best regards, Carl
Lovely tune, Carl. You've create a pleasant mood with your composition/instrumentation. Superb musicianship coming from your end.
Carl...what a great piece of music...this is the kind of stuff you like to relax to and unwind...what a great soundtrack this would make for the right scene in a movie...for some strange reason I envision some panoramic western and a rider at sunset...probably not your vision for this piece...oh well...anyway I thought it was very good...great use of BiaB tracks to compliment your style...Dan
Hi Scott, your kind comment is very much appreciated - thanks so much, and thank you for listening!!!
Best regards, Carl
Hi Dan, it's amazing how music stirs different reactions in people - I'm super pleased your imagination brought up a movie or Western sunset rider scene on hearing my tune, really chuffed you liked it!!
Thanks a lot for listening Dan, best regards - Carl
