Yesterday’s gone, gone
Vanished in the night
Waking up at dawn

Open the doors all the way
This is the day; this is the day
Yeah, yeah, hay, hay hay
This is the day; this is the day
This is the day

Verse
Checking in to base
Sipping in the sky
Slipping off my boots
It’s good to be alive

Ch

Bridge
Sleeping alone; under the stars
So far away, I’m not afraid of ever coming home

Hi, James.

I enjoyed the song, as well as the details of the composition process.

When in doubt, you can't go wrong with "Yeah, yeah, hey, hey hey!"
Hi David,

Thanks for the listen and post.

Exactly laugh

Cheers,

You got me interested with the very first few bars...liked the way it started. Interesting to read your timeline, see your process..thanks for doing that. I enjoyed the overall concept. My only suggestion..in some areas that are sparse (like only voice and guitar), I'd add some background rhythm, like a shaker or tambourine to give it a slight bit of texture. But, nonetheless, excellent work!
Song has a nice groove and energy!! The mix is also quite good! Enjoyable listen!! Take care. Greg
Thank you, Tano Music and Greg, for the listens and feedback!

Cheers,

James
