Lazy Afternoon

Dreamy
romancin’ on this quiet afternoon
so pure and perfect
and peaceful lying here with you

Deeply
sensations that that i never thought i'd feel
we'll take it slowly
'cause surely we've got all the time we need

I just wanna love
love you girl
on this lazy afternoon
I just wanna love you girl
On this lazy afternoon

Sweetly
your luscious honey lips caress my skin
magical moment
to feel our precious love begin

Easy
and gentle when you cuddle close to me
relaxed and chillin’
together we’ll live natural and free

I just wanna love
love you girl
on this lazy afternoon
I just wanna love you girl

Adlib to outro

peace!

Rob,

Smooth sounding production with some really nice vocals and backing. Really well done R&B single, with a jazz element to it—cool and soulful. Like that trumpet solo closing things out. Great job on this.

Best regards,

Deej

Really smooth stuff.
in some spots too smooth - the vocal vibrato verges on cabaret where as the held notes sound intimate and real.
There are some sibilant spots but they're brief and not accentuated by the reverb/delay.
I'm not sure the trumpet tone matches the song - it's a little strident in spots.
There's click or something at 2.57 that may not belong.
Very smooth and pleasant.

Hello Rob,

I think this is my first time I hear your music on BiaB.
Probably I must have missed a lot, because this songs sounds so smooth and professional.
Also your recording of the band and the vocals is very good (what's yourt secret?).

So it must be you had a lot of other songs before this one.

I enjoyed it,
Hans

Lush and plush production. Sounds good. I dig the electric piano. Vocals are well done.

Hello Rob,

Nice vocals and harmonies!
The Rhodes sound is really great.
The urban scent and the essence of black music are subtly mixed to create a unique atmosphere.
It sounds different from Motown or Philadelphia.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

It's very nice to hear some R&B on the forum!

It all sounds good to us on the monitors.

Your vocals and all the backing tracks (yours and BiaB)
all well supported the lyric -- which you nailed with
the sexy theme.

Well done!

Classic sound. Great production and arrangement. Your voice has such a nice feel and range. The lyric is really well written with that two-syllable intro to each section setting up what follows, both intimate and celebratory. Much enjoyed. Nice to meet you.
