An oldie but a goldie Scott.
I always find it interesting going back to a song I've written years before and then reworking it.
Thanks for sharing this one.
Your guitar and playing sound sublime.
Cheers,
Mike

I think we all know by those lovely moody runs and fabulous tone.
If it gives me goosebumps its Scott playing!

Yep, what they all said about the wonderful guitar playing. I also like the variance of the pacing and mood throughout. I especially like the little flurries in places like at 1:07 and 3:40.

Scott,

Love that lead guitar—the tone is so smooth; totally resonates and keeps my ear in the game. Great playing . . . Excellent work!

All my best,

Thanks Bob Glad you like the song. There is nothing better than playing a Les Paul through an old school Marshall amp turned up until the tubes are vibrating lol. Glad you liked the song

The word classy comes immediately to mind.

Mesmerizing engagement if you will.

It got Janice doing the hand dance! smile

The lovely melodic chops and tone is very well backed by the band.

Nice!!!

Very nice blues, could be background music for a nature documentary where the camera flies over hills and mountains. Enjoyable chord progression and smoothly flowing guitar melody. The mix is very pleasant.

Enjoyed the stylistic playing.

Strong reverb in the mix, but I guess that was intentional, and if so, it delivered.

Right from the first couple bars two words came into my head. Words that are more of an oxymoron when put together, but they so adequately describe your tone. Soaring Captivity. As soon as I hear it my eyes close because they know they are not needed, my head sways skyward like Stevie Wonder in slow motion, and I'm willingly captured by the sound. That's how I will know it is so good. Thanks, Scott.

Hi Scott C,

Nice intro. The reverb on your guitar is excellent. Beautiful slow. Very sweet atmosphere. The piano and organ arrangement in the well-balanced background. I appreciated.

Kindly regard
