Hi Brian,

I am delighted to be the first to review your new song.

I don't normally review Country songs because I have little or no knowledge of this genre. However I couldn't resist with your song because I enjoyed it so much.

I simply can't fault it:

Song - lovely melody
Guitar playing - very nice and perfectly suited to the song style.
Mix - perfect.

Please send us a some more.

Best Regards
Nigel

Hi Brian,

An interesting title which caught my eye....

Beautifully smooth and relaxed.

Great choice of Realtracks and a lovely bit of playing on the guitar melody.

A good mix - everything where it should be,

Thoroughly enjoyed.

ROG.

Very cool waltz, Brian. Excellent melody developed on your guitar, and well-played. The tune makes me smile in reverie.

Nicely done.

Ghostgum,

Well, you’ve taken two genres that don’t often hold my ear (country waltz and instrumentals in general) . . . and just killed it. This is a really pretty arrangement—really creatively done with the introduction and featuring of the various instruments throughout. Excellent work—a pleasure to listen to. And, yes, that title is just perfect—conveys small town country, which is how this song feels.

My best to you,

Deej

Very cool tune. Lovely playing. Very very nice tone. Well done..

That was very enjoyable. It reminded me of a few things.... but mainly that you never hear instrumentals on the radio today. Growing up, there was a fair number of really good instrumental music on the top 40..... not today.

I really enjoyed that song. Thanks

An interesting composition and some pleasantly orchestrated chord changes.

The mandolin ensemble was a pleasant surprise, and the melody carried the song quite elegantly.

We love many musical genres and this fits right in our rather large wheelhouse.

Your performance, the RT's and additional instruments (great mando) all made for a lovely and classy sound.

Excellent!

This song had a very relaxed feel to it, which made it really easy to listen to. There was something about it that was so effortless. Nice choice of tracks as well. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Ghostgum,

I saw there realy is a big corner in Aspen and Main (street). What happened overthere? Why did you made this very nice song about that specific corner. I'm super curious of course. But I'm pretty sure it must have been something nice and melancholic, because that's the sphere of your song too.
You have a very nice leadguitar in it as well

I enjoyed it very much, even though there's no vocals in it in ;-)

Thanks, Hans. The lyrics are not finished yet. The title identifies a place that romantically links two people.

Ah, I thought so. And was it the same spot I mentioned?

I guess we will have to wait and see (like all songs, I'm making it up as I go along wink ).

Lovely tune, Brian. The kind of music that allows one's thoughts to drift. While it's a beautiful instrumental, I could also easily imagine it being an excellent song with the right set of lyrics.

Leon
