Hi All,
Here's something called
City Girl.
Easy now
I’m over my head
In this subway car
I’m gasping for breath
I think I’m in too far
So let me tell you girl
Something I can’t forget
I guess I missed you more
Like I just said
I miss that girl
Girl in the city
Yeah I miss that girl
Girl in the city
I’m running the street
In worn out shoes
I’m wearing out feet
I got nothing to lose
So let me tell you girl
Something I can’t forget
I guess I missed you more
Like I just said
I miss that girl
Girl in the city
Miss that girl
Girl in the city
I’m dazed and bruised
In a world of hurt
I’m looking for truth
I'm on high alert
So let me tell you girl
Something I can’t forget
I guess I missed you more
Like I just said
I miss that girl
Girl in the city
Miss that girl
Girl in the city
So let me tell you girl
Something I can’t forget
I guess I missed you more
Like I just said
I miss that girl
Girl in the city
Yeah I miss that girl
Girl in the city

Hi Mr. Dean.
I like these laid back styles. Very Dylanesque.
I wrote one called City Girl too a few years back.
Good stuff.
Vic
Bob,
Wow! Love this too.
You are on a roll this year!!
Time to put out an album man.
Love the main guitar part by the way.
Man I can't get enough of your vocals! So expressive.
"I’m running the street
In worn out shoes
I’m wearing out feet
I got nothing to lose"
Nice!
Sounds great, Bob, I'm a fan.
Well, talk about engaging songs... Right after the "Easy now" I was singing along with you as if I knew the song all my life. Really catchy hook and melody. Great choice of band and style, and the perfect production, Bob. Great morning lift.
Vic,
Much appreciated - thank you.
Bob
They always say the greats have an identifiable tone. You so do. Your song writing and production obviously well crafted; but it wouldn't this song without your voice. VERY cool!
Bob
Thoroughly engaging. Great vocal and a really nice tune.
Excellent work once again.
Peter
Bob, outstanding vocal and lyrics! Loved it. Super choice in instrumentation and mix also.
IMHO this is your best to date.
David,
Thank you. That’s very kind.
Bob

Marty,
Thanks so much.
Bob
Very, very cool Bob!!! Always enjoy your tunes.......you have a classic sound!! Take care. Greg
Another great one, Bob. Like others have said, your songs have an instantly recognisable sound which really appeals to me. And I'm always a sucker for songs of longing and regret.
Regards,
Leon
Another awesome tune Bob. Super vocal and lyric. Backing track was perfect for the song. Nice mix too. Well done..
Nice construction and arrangement.
Your very distinctive vocal style holds court as always.
Still, a little de-essing wouldn't go astray.
Hi rsdean,
Well-chosen and well-mixed realtracks that suit your lyrics perfectly. Your lyrics are pleasant. It is a pleasant composition. Well done.
Kindly regard

Most memorable.
You and Lucinda need to hook up for a live stream. We'd pay!
Even sans baritone guitar we loved the band
Great, as Janice said, "gritty and soulful" vocal.
Excellent!
J&B

All three verses contain exceptional lyric writing.
Good emotive performance.
Instrumentation works well and wraps around the melody smoothly.

Really outstanding vocals on this well written and arranged song. The guitars were spot on. Treat of a song from start to finish.
Enjoyed it.
Charlie
Janice & Bud,
So nice of you to say that... Lucinda would be like "who is that guy?" LOL!
Thank you as always.
Bob
Hi Bob,
This is exactly the kind of song that makes your vocals shine!
It has the same sphere like one of your other songs, 'cup of coffee', I thought it was named.
I couldn't find that one on your soundCloud, but it doesn't matter. It's a very pleasant song that sticks in your head long after you listened to it. That's great!
Still, I have a feeling I heard this song before from you. Say couple of years back. Can that be? Or is that what happens when your songs stay in my head so long?
I enjoyed it very much,
Hans
Scott,
Thank you - very appreciated.
Bob
Floyd,
I appreciate that. Thanks so much.
Bob
Charlie,
Very appreciated - thank you.
Bob
Hans,
All my songs sound the same... LOL!
Thanks for the kind words.
Bob
Hans,
All my songs sound the same... LOL!
Thanks for the kind words.
Bob
You are kidding, mister Dean!
Hans
Bob, I always like your approach to making a song! You always say a lot in your lyrics with many or few words! You are a super song writer! As someone else said, I like the laid back style of this! Sorry I've missed some of your stuff in my absence, but it appears that you haven't lost your touch! Thanks, Torrey
Ooo nice rocker Bob.
Josie
Bob,

Good to hear you again - missed your music.
