Love the sound of this a lot—right up my alley. Like the write and the internal rhymes, and the chorus is catchy as heck. Production wise, I’d like to see that vocal a bit more prominent and maybe a bit more fade on the final note of the tune. Boy, that organ is great. Structurally, I was a little surprised you didn’t dive back into the chorus after the second verse. Not a bad thing, just different. Cool tune!

Catchy tune. Excellent vocal. Very enjoyable.

I use Mixcraft for putting together loops--MC loops and others--and for creating with my virtual instruments. I use Reaper for everything else. I have too many problems with Mixcraft when I render a production.

Kudos on the loops. I've only dabbled with them. Enjoyed the song's breezy feel especially liked the chorus.

Really good changes. You captured the genre perfectly. Brings Eddie Cochran to mind, and the vocals are perfectly mixed with that bathroom reverb, and excellent harmony.

I don't think it's your veracity that's off putting either...more the oblique nature of some of them or turn of phrase sometimes. The honesty is, for my part, appreciated.
