Instrumentals can always be refreshing, and this arrangement is particularly so.

Well done. Everything fits perfectly together to deliver an superb melody. Yhe rall. at the end was extremely well performed.

Ghostgum

This is a wonderful instrumental that has obviously had a lot of loving care in its construction!

That piccolo part is super...it really makes song! That guitar sounds excellent also!

You've crafted a very nice tune with a lovely melody!

A relaxing and calming melody with a whole bunch of instruments dancing around it. So well done, Ghostgum. This should be the first song of everyone's day.

What they said. laugh

The kind of song I can just enjoy, without feeling I need to critique or explain what I liked about it.

Really nicely done!

Thanks, Torrey.
Actually, I put this together in a bit too much of a hurry and have made a few adjustments/improvements since I posted it. wink

Really, really pretty. Loved the move from minor to major and back. At least I think that's what I'm hearing. All the instrument "turns" are lovely, but I am a sucker for bells so the glockenspiel wins by a nose for me. Calming and enchanting piece. Very much enjoyed.

Lovely Celtic piece like a journey several hundreds years back in time. I enjoyed the theme, chords and melody. BIAB instruments work really well and the other tracks add the final spices. Just wondering how this would sound with an elven-like female vocalist.

Do you happen to know any elven-like vocalists (apart from Gunnhild Tvinnereim and Sissel Kyrkjebø)? I'm all for continual improvement wink

You ears serve you well, Tangmo. The shifts from minor to major are there to suggest a change in the tide wink

Hi Ghostgum,

I love this melody and how you've build up the whole song; the picolo, the lead guitar. All very well done.
That Celtic melody, with all it's melancholy and sadness is something you can wake me up for in the middle of the night (I think...).

I enjoyed it very much. I also think Na Taoidí Ama is a beautiful title!

Hi Ghostgum,

This is so well presented. The arrangement really shines and the production brings out the very best in the instruments. What totally mesmerised me, though, was the melody. This is truly wonderful to listen to.

Excellent musical craftsmanship!

Noel

Thanks, Noel, OM, and all the others who've given this tune the thumbs up.

Once again, it's the BIAB real tracks that provide the inspiration for the melody once I've typed in a workable chord progression.

I must say I really enjoy playing this one to live audiences (the dead ones obviously don't care that much!).

Take care,
Ghostgum
