Hi Pete,

I love this New Orleans music.

I think the piano may be in a straight time (as opposed to swing time) which means it could be slightly at odds with the rest of the music.

Best Regards
Nigel

Mike,

It's amazing how listening to some good music can inspire us so much! You did an a great job with this inspired effort! You did the band you listened to justice here! I hear the Big Easy here! Nice work once again! Thanks, Torrey

"Preservation Hall" Nailed.

So easy to see this band on that iconic stage.

Well done!

Love that town, and you did it outstanding justice with this rocker, Mike. You give the sound of walking down Bourbon Street and hearing all the magic pouring onto the street. Cool tuba. That piano guy you brought from next door has had enough of the treats of the night to make even swing. Really interesting inspiration.

cubanpete,

Yup, “toe-tapper” is the right description for this one. There’s no sitting still listening to this. That sax just works so well. Great composition; excellent production. Like that electric guitar solo as well. Very cool tune!

Best regards,

Deej

Hi Mike,

This is an incredible listen. You really nailed the Bourbon St. experience.

Although I'm in Australia, this section of New Orleans is really well known and you've captured its jazz essence really well.

I totally loved where you music took me.

Thanks for posting,
Noel
