The song DIVIDED BY LIES was written because of the fact
that in the last almost eighteen months of the pandemic,
most people around the world have been lied to and
deprived of their freedoms by their governments.
The attempt to divide people into two classes is
now the next chapter in a failed policy.

You get a LOT out of BIAB! A great driving Rock sound.

Good vocals. Good mix.

The cymbals are a little too prominent for my tastes. Dropping the high EQ would correct that. But, of course, that is a personal preference on my part. Some folks might like that abundant cymbal sound...

I was surprised myself how well BiaB is suited for hard rock.
However, in most projects the weak point is the solo guitar and
often the rhythm guitar. But what the heck,
that's what guitarists are for ;-)

Yes it is really bad and at least here in Germany
it is getting worse and worse. The song is more relevant than ever.
I made a video about it as well.
But I can only show that among friends, because here in Germany.
no second opinion on this subject is tolerated.
You have to imagine that. This is not North Korea, Russia or China.
This is really happening right here in Germany
and many other "free democratic" countries.

I'm in agreement with the comments made on the production. It's really a top notch arrangement and production. I'm a big fan of completing productions solely in BIAB. Many don't think commercial and pro quality productions can be achieved without use of a DAW. A quick listen to each year's PG Music release of demo's go a long way to dispel such myths. This production you've done does too. Good job.

Cool song. It sounds like a mix between Peter Frampton 70 lead guitar and Foo Fighters current day. Good production. Lyrics are good. Well done. And the band rocks too!

WOW, does this POP out of the gate!!! That killer lead guitar in the intro--sweet! Great, great rock tune. One suggestion would be to bring "Liar Kings" into the title of the tune. It's a very nice phrase that can shine more in that regard. Totally rocking tune!! Great job on this!

I think that the possibilities at BiaB for really good hard rock/ heavy metal are very limited. Unfortunately
I have tried quite a few styles and sounds for Divided by Lies and found that many rock/metal sounds are not suitable for very good results.
Maybe there will be more good styles and sounds in the future.

I won't speak to the topic, but there are places where you play the pronoun game so quickly that I've got difficulty trying to figure out who you're addressing:

      be honest at last Who, me? Or the lying government?
      you need no cash Who, me? Or "you" in the abstract? Because I do need money.
      but ONE folk "ONE" folk instead of money?
      repeat it but loud Repeat what loud? "ONE Folk?"

Then again, I'm often easily confused by lyrics.

And there's a rule that rock songs must not be grammatically correct, right?

this rock really well. A really cool mix of the band.
The vocals sound a little over processed and a little essy.
The guitar solo is a bit loud when it begins but fits better when the band builds a bit more.
There could be some vocal pitch tuning to bring the whole song together better.

The narrative..I understand & I empathize but I am not so naive as to see any "way out" being offered in the song.
Sovereign Citizen/anti-vax/anti lock down activists in Australia have been using Twisted Sister's We're Not Gonna Take It as their rally tune despite the writer's expressed wishes that they not do so. They hope to wake up tomorrow and it be all over without having to do anything to make it so...me too but wishing doesn't make it so.

Terrific song, terrific mix, some work to do on the vocals.

Yes, you are right, Liar Kings would also fit well as a title.
But the main message of the song is to stand up to the government that is dividing society.
I went to a neighboring town today to see a huge light show. Afterwards, I wanted to eat something. I was not sold anything because I was not vaccinated..... I was only allowed to see the show but not eat or drink anything. That can't be all there is to it.
It just doesn't stop after 2 years in Germany.
Fortunately, at least some countries are slowly becoming reasonable again and live like humans again.

I had no questions about the text until now
From the topic it is actually always clear which persons I actually mean
But you are of course right, one can interpret it also differently
But honestly, I don't know how I should put it in the text correctly.
That is of course always the danger that in a foreign language such misunderstandings can arise.
If I would make music professionally, I would have for that my people ;-)

Although I'm more into jazz and its variants I started with hard rock so I can enjoy a good tune when I hear one and yours definetely falls into that catagory!
I'm shocked like others what you could get off of BIAB, this is super impressive. Your vocals fits super well with the punchy vibe of the tune, the drums are powerful, great mix and very nice guitars!

That's a very cool song! Heavy stuff, but very well performed.
Liked that sologuitar much.
I enjoyed listening and it captivates from start to finish!

One small thing: the echo you use for some 'last' words starts too close to the real voice.
If you give it more distance from the start that would work out a bit nicer.
But it is a matter of taste, I admit.

But with a top singer the song would have a completely different quality. That is for sure
To the statement of the song: There everyone has his point of view.
Especially in Germany I can only say that the government lies to us every day and with ever new laws the people harassed and driven into ruin and unemployment. All this has nothing to do with the virus for a long time. That a song causes nothing has already shown the past. But that the people go on the street and demonstrate against it is the only means against this wrong policy.
