Hi All,

This is called October Horse.

She’s looking for solace
She’s looking for sunshine
She’s out of seasons
She’s out of time
Winter runs its course
Like an old October horse

He’s only a pony
He’s only a Mustang
He’s a July moonbeam
He’s got his own gang
Summer runs its course
Like a slow October horse

I don’t have an answer
I don’t have an aim
I can’t tell what you need
I know it’s such a shame
Love runs its course
Like a cold October horse
Oh love runs its course
Like a cold October horse

Hello Bob
Very atmospheric song
Very good vocals to go with it
The instrumentalization you have chosen great
And the ending is really great
Great job

Had to look up October horse, turns out it's an animal sacrifice the ancient Romans carried out on October 15th. That aside, this song is your usual atmospheric piece with a terrific vocal. Can't go wrong there. Your usual excellent work.

Nicely calm song with melancholy that "runs its course". Beautiful arrangement, all instruments play their own roles perfectly. Emotional vocals once again.

Well done.

I'm always impressed with your lean writing, and your voice and sparse arrangements work so well.

Winter. Summer. Love. Cool write, Bob. The music fits the theme and the lyrics so well, a slow walk of an October horse. [Thanks a bunch to TuneMonger for the look-up.] Excellent vocal and a very pleasing band, simple and very effective.

Another awesome tune Bob. October Horse did not know the connection to the Roman sacrifice. Very interesting. Excellent vocal and lyric. Well done..

Hello Bob ...

In addition to your charismatically unique vocals and wonderful arrangements, what impresses me the most is how much you say with so few words. Also, the depth and full sound you get from rather minimalistic backing tracks is fabulous. What a great listen ...

Bob,

Yet another well-crafted tune, featuring you usual excellent production. Your songs are so consistent in quality, feel and sound—they fit together like a glove. As Greg says, your patented, signature sound on this one. Excellent!

Best regards,

"She’s looking for solace
She’s looking for sunshine
She’s out of seasons
She’s out of time
Winter runs its course
Like an old October horse"

Short and sweet. There was a time when many great <3 minute songs were written. It's an excellent skill to say it in few words, leave, and allow the listener to hit play again (of course I'm excluding us blues folks :))

Sparseness can, when done like this, equal bigness!

Well done,

Well well.
This really is a surprise!
Very good song.
Your voice is very suitable for this kind of singing.
Half spoken word, half singing.
You should do more like this!
