THE SUN WILL SHINE AGAIN

This song was created after a tragic accident from 2019 in which a little boy lost his life.
It is intended to give hope and courage to all those who also suffer a serious loss in their lives out of nowhere.
It would be very nice if this song could do this at least a little.

I hope you like it
Many greetings
Andi ;-)

Listen to THE SUN WILL SHINE AGAIN

one moment under a clear blue sky
can change your life you don't know why
but from now on nothing is the same anymore

the darkness lies over your heart
the fate is playing the last card
and from now you see your love nevermore

but all your love and faith
will help you to find your new way
and your love lives forever in your heart

after the storm and the rain
the sun will shine again
and the time can heal the pain

after the storm and the rain
the sun will shine again
and the time can heal the pain

so many tears flow to the earth
i couldn't protect you it's the worst
but the fate had something else for you

remember the time before the storm
so many moments since your love was born
Moments when the light shines through

THE SUN WILL SHINE AGAIN
Music & Lyrics: A. Melzer
Vocals: A. Melzer

This was an impressive production... very bright sounding, and listenable.
Well done PROJECT M.
Truly a very sad subject. You put together some really cool and interesting music!!! AND the production is top notch!!! Nicely done! Take care. Greg
Hi, Andi.

It's nice to hear someone doing something with the synth/dance tracks, and you do it well.

Upbeat pop, despite the subject matter. Good arrangement and mix. Good vocals as well.

One minor suggestion - you might want to watch your /th/s at the start of "the". Occasionally it comes out as /z/.

Catchy song!

A sad but positive tale inside music with a big beat.
Well arranged and a decent melody too.
There're a couple of spots where the pronunciation is "European". Your voice and phrasing remind me of the singer from Scorpions in their late 70s prime.

There're a few things in the lyric that I'd tweak:
The use of NOW doesn't directly relate to the ambiguous time frame of the 1st stanza. Oddly, using THEN applies to the moment, (past, present or future), and side steps being locked in one tense.
You've used THE before time, fate and a couple of other things. In most instances it's redundant but doesn't do any harm.

one moment under a clear blue sky
can change your life you don't know why
but from THEN on nothing is the same any more

Darkness lies over your heart
Fate is playing the last card
and from THEN you see your love nevermore

but all your love and faith
will help you to find your new way
and your love lives forever in your heart

after the storm and the rain
the sun will shine again
and time can heal the pain

after the storm and the rain
the sun will shine again
and time can heal the pain

so many tears flow to the earth
i couldn't protect you it's the worst
(I couldn't protect you, but, for what it's worth)
fate HAS something else for you

remember the time before the storm
so many moments since your love was born
Moments when the light shines through
Hi Andi,

Very impressive piece of music! I like the arrangement and the groove.

Excellent songwriting, hard to do with such a delicate subject, but you did it well.

Also, as David said, it's nice to hear someone use the synth/dance tracks, we don't hear that too often on the forum.

Well done!
Great passion in your vocal, Andi. A sad story with a positive outlook. I like that you concentrate on the Sun shining again instead of dwelling in the darkness. Quite an interesting production with much to listen to, and the message comes through loud and clear.
Andi.
wow i liked how the song started.
it draws the listener in.
your a very good song sound picture arranger. nice ending.
best

Andi, it's great that you thought enough to do a song to reach out to someone in pain! That's the wonder and magic of music, it can speak to someone no matter what style or genre it's produced in! You always do a nice job! Thanks, Torrey.
Good lyrics about sad subject but with positive sing-a-long feeling. Good powerful beat and quite catchy chorus. Nice to hear some synth RTs together with one of my favorite guitars #3724.

Janne
Andi,

Good Music! Tough subject, handled well.

I like your vocal. It is passionate. Nicely recorded and processed. Sits in the mix really well.

Good choice of RTs. As others have said - nice to hear these used for a change. Good mix.

After a couple of listens, the song becomes very catchy.

Well done.

Excellent production Andi. Loved the backtrack and vocal. Very sad lyrics.
I like this but in a different way perhaps. The singing and production and choice of tracks is nice and well done. What kinda threw me off a bit was the dark topic paired with an uptempo kind of dance beat. It didn't quite fit the expectations I was looking for but hey.... that's what music is supposed to do from time to time right? Take us unawares and unexpected. On that account, it succeeded.
I had the same reaction as Herb, there was a bit of a disconnect between the brightness of the music and the subject matter. But if one only listens to the lyrics and doesn't read your preface, it works just fine.

Everything about this was well done. As they say across the pond: Chapeau!
Andi

Well produced and different to what we hear usually on the forum.

A nice big sound and a good performance.

Good stuff.

Peter
It's such a sad topic but with a Euro Techno beat. Interesting. It works and that's all that counts. Good one.
Thanks Projectm very true in many ways time heals however- you never forget great memorys cover loss and pain and help really enjoyed your song thanks for sharing Eric
Andi,
Sad subject, but done in positive manner. Clean mix and good drive. Excellent use of synths. Thank you for sharing.

Misha.

Very actual in our country at the moment.
A well-known football player, who was drunk and drove over 125 miles an hour, caused a car accident. Both parents wounded and their 4-year old son was killed.
So, the song touched us.

Rob and Anne-Marie

Very interesting musical choices for the topic.

Keep up the creativity.
Hello bloc-head
Thanks for the positive feedback
Glad you like the song
Many greetings

Andi,

I’m late to the party on this one—been a bit absent from the board lately—but this is a terrific listen. I don’t think I can add much more to the comments above . . . but I agree this is a refreshing tune to hear on the board, with a very imaginative and stellar production. Catchy chorus! Enjoyed my listen very much.

All my best to you,

Deej
Turned a tragedy into a message of hope!

well done.

Hello Greg
Thank you for your positive feedback
Glad you liked the selection of RT's
Many greetings
Andi ;-)
Hello David
Thank you for your honest feedback
I have dealt with the synth/dance tracks for the first time
Is already a huge selection available
Well the pronunciation is such a thing :-)
Will certainly never be completely error free...
But I will try it :-))))
Many greetings
Andi ;-)
Hello Ray
thanks for your great tips
My pronunciation will probably never sound American.unfortunately ;-(
But if it's already on the level of the Scorpions in the late 70's,
it's not so bad and I can start my career ;-))))))
I saved your tips for the lyrics and will take them
into account when I do an acoustic version of the song.
Thanks Ray for such helpful criticism
Many greetings
Andi ;-)
"Andi, it's great that you thought enough to do a song to reach out to someone in pain! That's the wonder and magic of music, it can speak to someone no matter what style or genre it's produced in! You always do a nice job!"

Torrey very well stated that.

Some have mentioned the upbeat vibe versus the sad yet hopeful lyric. We feel that it works fine as is. We've done several songs in that fashion and feel that the contrast adds to the song's effect. Well done.

Your passionate vocal was perfect for the song.

And the backing tracks are well chosen and mixed very well. Everything has its place on the soundstage and sounds good.

Fine production!

Hello Dave
Thanks for your great feedback
Nice that you also call the selection of RT's successful
Thank you, Dave
Many greetings
Andi ;-)
Hello Marty
Yes, the song has a very sad origin.
But most parts of the song are positive.
I think so the actual message is transported well
That's what it's all about
Thanks for your positive feedback
See you soon Marty
Andi ;-)
Production is well done! The song genre pulls me back in time. I enjoyed the listen.
I was really touched that you spoke about a tragedy and made a song out of it. Very 80ish vibes (in the good way). I second that after a couple of listen it get more and more catchy. You have a unique style and the vocals play a big role in it. Good job!
Hello om
thank you for the compliment
I think it's fantastic that you can feel the song
I'm very happy that you really like the song
Thanks for the great feedback
Many greetings om
Andi ;-)
Nice sounding pop tune, Andi.
Well mixed.

Vic
Wow. Thanks Torrey
Getting such great feedback from an expert is pretty special.
Writing songs to deal with blows of fate is a good therapy.
And writing songs to give hope and courage to other people is just as rewarding.
If it helps of course you can't know but it's worth to try it in any case.
Thank you Torrey for your great words
Many greetings
Andi ;-)
I's glad a got a chance to listen to this masterpiece.

Super groove. Uplifting lyrics, especially after that tragedy.

Great vocal.

Two thumbs up.
Hi Janne
Thanks for your great feedback
yes the guitar is really great
you can use in many projects
Many greetings

Hello Andi,

I have listened with interest to your song. I was a bit confused about the topic in relation to the music, like some others.
But when I listened again I could appreciate what you made. It's a nice connection between sorrow and hope and that alone makes it a good song.

I enjoyed it,
Hans
Hello Floyd
very nice that you like the song
was actually planned as a hard rock ballad, but only with BiaB not feasible.
But this way it is something different ;-)
Many greetings
Andi ;-)
Hello Scott
Thanks for your feedback
Glad you like the song
many greetings

Hi Project M,

Well-orchestrated composition with sounds that are not often found on this forum. The lyrics are well written and your voice lends itself well. Very pleasant composition. Well done.

I read the lyrics before listening to the track. It was not what I was expecting! At first it seemed incongruous that such vibrant up-beat music could have been matched with such poignant words but eventually I think I understood.
I particularly liked the transition around the 2.20 mark.
Hello Herb
Thanks for your great feedback
You are right. one would not expect such a song with the history.
But of course I would never have published the song if I wasn't sure that
the actual goal of the song, namely to give a little hope, can be achieved.
And it seems to be so. Because it has become one of my most popular songs.
See you soon
Andi ;-)
Hello Rob
Thanks for your great feedback
Nice that you gave the song a chance and that you like it ;-)
Many greetings
