Hi, you two.
I think this has a good melody and well mixed but there is a "sameness" all the way through that could do with some attention.
Maybe a break before the chorus and a few accents here and there.

The last line here sounds awkward:
"But you’re the one I need
I know this surely". Maybe a change to something like "come set my spirit free".

Hi, Chris & Deej. A wonderful collab. The melody grabs me right away. Excellent close harmony on the choruses, and I really like the harmony separation in the the verses. Perfect instrumentation and a good mix.

Quite fast tempo for such a sad song, but it has a really catchy melody. David interprets deep and dark sadness very emotionally once again, nice doubling. Very nice chord progression. I enjoyed the instrumentation and especially the fiddle solo, although it could have been longer.
