Ain't Nobody's BusinessHi Folks,
Here's my version of "Ain't Nobody's Business" originally called "Tain't Nobody's Biz-ness If I Do". It was published in 1922 by Porter Grainger and Everett Robbins.

You will have to pardon me for not having heard the original. I am from 65.
But I can hear that this is an excellent production, and you have the voice for it.
Also, that Sax 2017 RT is wonderfully produced and mastered.
Rob
Hi Rob,
Thanks for your comments - here are a few of the many artists who have covered this blues classic with distinction:
Hank Williams Jr.
BB King
Billie Holiday
Bobby Bland (my favourite)

Nigel...super job!....classic tune with a classic sound...great vocal and band!
Nigel, I knew this was an old song, but I'd only heard Hank Jr.'s version before. This song is right up your alley, as if it should have been written for you. Great job on it. I especially liked the way you sang out the ending. It was a fun listen.
Nigel, you absolutely nailed this one.
Outstanding sax and vocal
Super mix
This as good as this song can get IMHO
Loved it
Hi Nigel

Many greetings

You rock, Nigel. What a wonderful rendition. Heard so many versions and this one soars to share the top. I like the feel you gave it, and of course your vocal takes it to that next level. Love that 420 bass, and that sax.
Hey Nigel ...
Love this old swing tunes. You absolutely nailed it. You have the perfect voice for it. Nothing but great sounds here.
Asa I listened, I was thinking another great from the past who would have done a great cover on this is Louie Armstrong. But, that said, your version is simply great! Always enjoy your work.
Alan
Howdy Nigel....
Well....all other contributors stole my complimentary thunder.
Great job all around.
You are a damn fine crooner Nigel.
I hope to learn to sing one day.

Hi Alan,
Yes Louis had the perfect voice for this song - I had a look on Google and Youtube but I don't think he ever sung this song unfortunately.

Nigel
Strong opening with the horn.
A much more upbeat version that I'm used to - it's always fun to hear someone make a song their own.
Halfway through the song, I scrolled to the top to see if you had a BiaB sax player or if it was played live. Which means you nailed it.
I've come to expect your songs to be meticulously mixed, and this was no exception.
Love the vocal - fun rendition!

Nigel,
Love that swinging feel of this tune! Great vocal again! You did an excellent job pulling out those soloist tracks and making them sounding great. I always have difficulty finding something that flows naturally with my tracks. The only thing I noticed that might help is on those stops, if there was some kind of slight reverb trail left in the air on the sax to kind of fill the gap but that is just something that sounds good to me! Great tune!
Thanks, Torrey

Hi Torrey,
Thanks for your comments and suggestion - much appreciated.
Realtracks soloists - yes they often take quite a bit of work in my DAW to get them to fit the song - but normally worth the effort.
