I've carried this melody around with me for a while...I also had the title for it but never wrote any lyrics...it is inspired by the first miracle of Jesus when He turned the water into wine...

He took something ordinary and turned it into something extraordinary...so I took something ordinary (a melody) and with the help of Scott Collingwood (who everyone knows from his fantastic guitar work on this forum) turned it to something extraordinary (I hope)...in other words I brought the water and Scott turned it into wine.

Like all of my mixes it is always in a constant state of flux...so if you have suggestions on the mix I will certainly entertain them...I hope you enjoy it...so...if you do...thanks for listening...Dan

Thanks for your comments Floyd...you're so right about Scott...Dan
Excellent choice of wine, Dan. There is a hint of blues and a strong aftertaste of the flavors only Scott can evoke. The man has an extraordinary musical palette. Your water was pure and the perfect ingredient for change. Ain't no miracle this is a barrel full of goodness.
I like it, especially towards the end the combination of Scott's guitar and your piano playing sounds amazing smile

Hi Dan and Scott
Absolute Top Song
You can not get more out of this melody - Bravo
Great songwriting
Scott plays himself into a frenzy ;-) Very great
A great collaboration that screams for a continuation
Many greetings
Andi ;-)
Lovely song well played by both of you. It sounds to me as if Scott could be louder in the mix, but it's hard to trust the high-frequency attenuation of my errant ears. Of course, I'd love to hear this with lyrics and your superb singing.

Lyrical - nice melody!

Good balance with the instruments, sound nice on the headphones. Kept my interest throughout - nice guitar and piano work, both real and synthetic.

I like this one a lot. laugh

Thanks everyone for the awesome comments. I glad when Dan contacted me and asked me to play on this. I was really fun to play on it. Glad everyone is enjoying the song..
The song cruises along nicely with a bit of a majestic feel. You have a good seed to grow into a song with lyrics. Scott C soars here.
Excellent instrumental gentlemen

You two have created a masterpiece

Great backing band

Super chops and mix.
Hello Dan and Scott,

A very captivating song. I really liked that part where the piano and lead guitar played intensely together (from 3:10).
And I know from my own experiences with Scott that he is able to turn water into wine. And he did that again (and again etc)!!!
I don't know if you need lyrics and singing here.

I enjoyed the song a lot,

Hans
Again my thanks to everyone who commented and again and again my thanks to Scott for making this come alive!

Dan and Scott,

Although we seldom drink wine (we don't really care for it), this is a kind of wine we like very much!
Wonderful collaboration.
It gets the taste for more.

Dan & Scott ...

What a lovely song! I think the bust drum tracks works really well to keeop everything moving along so nicely. Wonderful melody! And yeah, Scott's playing is always fantastic. As a guitarist myself, .I've always enjopyed and envied his work.

Super listen!

Again, thanks to everyone for checking out the song and your comments are very much appreciated. Loved playing the melody on this song,
Especially doing the call backs to Dans piano.

Great melody flows straight into heart and Scott delivers it beautifully with an excellent sound and his artistic playing. And when the piano melody joins in, together with the strings, this gets a heavenly lift. The rest of the band sounds very good, although I would like to hear drums playing more calmly once in a while. And a gospel choir at the end would be really special smile Just like wine gets better with age, this one gets better on each listen. Classic tune.

Janne
Very nice.

Dan, your Genos work, Scott’s smooth guitar and the BiaB tracks all mesh perfectly.

That’s a lovely melody and we can see why it has stuck with you all these years.

We look forward to an updated version with your lyric!

Thanks everyone for all the awesome comments on the song.
Firesong & Scott.

Very good collaboration. Pretty interesting tones of some instruments. Nice work on keys & excellent lead guitar by Scott. Very clear mix.
2 spins kept me engaged. Thank you for sharing.

Misha.
Oh, I like this one!

Great melody, and I agree with your choice of wine, Scott did a fabulous job bringing this to life.

Nothing better than a good instrumental in my book, and you two have accomplished that, well done.

Thanks again everybody....especially you "ax" guys who recognize great guitar work...and everyone is right Scott added the wine to this one...I was just smart enough to ask him to do it!
You guys make a great team! Smoooooth all the way through. It has a great upbeat feel to it. Scott, you did a great job with that guitar - as usual. And Dan, as usual, your piano sounded good too. I thought it could have come up with a few more piano fills here and there, but that's just me. Thanks for putting this one together and letting us give it a listen guys!
Dan and Scott,

It's a wonderful sound you have created! A very enjoyable listening experience with great performances. Dan, Don't ever get rid of the Genos! You are doing great things with it!

Thanks, Torrey

Thanks, Torrey

Torrey...I very much appreciate your comments...I've often thought about selling the Genos but can't quite see myself doing without it...BiaB has pretty much taken its place in my composing and arranging...anyway...thanks for your encouraging words...Dan
