Fairy Dust

Fairies sometimes leave FairyLand, come into our world, and spread Fairy Dust over us. Of course we can not see the Fairies or the dust but it is there. Sometimes the Fairies flutter rapidly between person to person and sometimes they hover over a person or two. This song tries to replicate that movement.

BiaB style = Very Slow Trance - Like N
Trempo = 58 BPM

I deleted the drums
Bass - Kontakt - Kurt Hunter's Virtuoso Cellos
Guitar - Kontakt - Mark Tree Chimes
Strings - Serenity SE - preset - Expand
Piano - Synthmaster One - AHH Heaven
Chord output - Kontakt - TRZ 22 - panoramic choir

Me via my MIDI keyboard controller - Kontakt - Crystal Flute

A song from a fairy tale movie. Beautiful.
You are really good at creating soundscapes like this!

Mario,

Those little quick "flute" flutters are great. It really fits the theme of the song so well. Once again you have shown that you are a master at creating these ethereal soundscapes! Love it!

Thanks, Torrey

Terrific atmospheric piece, Mario.
The flute is interesting, imaginative.
Good mix.

This is really a work of art. Your mastery of MIDI is amazing. I enjoyed being in fairyland for a few moments.

Another masterful work, this is not just a song, but a place beyond imagination, FairyLand as you call it. Thanks for the four-minute journey there. Flutter and marktree are excellent ways to describe that place, not just flutter but there are other flute melody parts that make this short moment extraordinary. How can I save and re-use all this dust? Creative, original and cinematic.

Very magical, indeed! You must give the elves equal time.

This is ready for an animated feature. Really imaginative. Loved it. Crystal flute is wonderful and carries the production.

Possibly your best effort in the atmospheric genre. The flute felt like the fairy was talking to me in its language. Really cool, enjoyed it a great deal.

Straight out of 60s Disney.

Thanx B.D. and Torrey. I really like creating soundscapes so I'm glad that you liked this one. Soundscapes seems to be my strong point in composing.

Thanx so much Floyd. I have always loved the sound of a flute and I'm glad the VSTis flute emulations are this good.

Thanx Charlie. I much prefer working in MIDI than in RTs; nothing against those whom work in RTs. I have been working with MIDI since the mid 80's; that's 1980 and not my age-----yet!

Thanx so much Janne for this very kind review. I wish I knew how to collect and re-use Fairy dust but I don't. However if I could I know that my wife would complain as we have enough dust in our house now!

Thanx so much for listening and commenting. If anyone wants to use this in an animation be my guest.

Nicely done.

Cool stuff, Mario, you are truly a master at creating these soundscapes!

Love the flute especially.

Yes, so well done, Mario. They are even flitting from speaker to speaker. Very magical tones, and I really like the bending notes. The dust is easy to detect. I kept scraping some off my shoulders. Even the flute flutters. I believe I even saw the second cloud on the right.

Excellent Mario.
I can see them in my garden while I listen.

what can i say that hasnt been said ?

my interpretation in my mind was a time i lived in africa ...
and we would go out and just look at the wonders of african nature.

in summary i can see this being used on tv as background to a nature film or maybe an underwater nature film etc.

kudos.

Marty, I'm glad that you liked this one.

I thought I was scraping Fairy dust off of my shoulders also, but alas, it was only dandruff.

Wow!

Ethereal and cinematic to the max.

Your written setup was perfect as we could immediately sense the fluttering.

Wonderfully creative work with the flute track and the supporting tracks.

Well done!

Beautiful Mario.
It's like we've been in a dream.

Now we're awake and can only say we enjoyed it very much!

Thanx Brad but I wouldn't say "the master of new age soundscapes" as I am a long way from those masters. But thanx for that extremely nice comment.
