I’m trying to come up with interesting uses of the diminished scale over a standard Jazz / Blues progression. The clarinet soloist does a really good job, but a lot of other soloists will just play the I / b3 notes.
Using the multi riff feature, I change chords in those verses so the soloist will follow those chords. After he’s done I change the chords back to the original progression. For example: at the II-V I change the II 2 to the #IV Dim and the V to the IV dim. It’s a great substitution if played correctly.

If Biab could intelligently snap midi to follow the chords/scale you could use a decent virtual instrument for the soloist.
The other way is use RapidComposer VST in Biab.
I’m not familiar with RapidComposer. I’ll check it out.
