Tango Styles - 11/22/08 08:11 PM
There seems to be no luck so far with any brand of music/instrument makers in coming up with authentic, simple Tango style.
In particular, tango's don't use drums.
They use Bass piano, bandoneon, violins, and guitars, specially for tango-cancion (tango for vocalists).
The tangos sound with real drums are specially not at all tango sounds.
BB/RB could be the first ones to have such things. Would say that with the Real-instrument tech of PG Music, they have the advantage. Those styles can be made with a minimum of instruments. The guitars specially need to bee real. Piano, violin, and even bandoneon could be MIDI, seems to me.
Thanks for considering this.
