Hi. I'm a music teacher using BIAB - only v11 although I am considering upgrading - to help generate midi files which my pupils use. I am struggling with 2/4 time. I can convert the body of the piece to 2/4. but can't get a suitable lead in. Can you tell me how I can do this, please?

Wow, there have been a lot of changes since version 11: that is to say, versions 12, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2007.5, 2008, 2008.5, 2009, and 2009.5.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by lead-in (I'm presuming you mean the click-ins before the song starts). So I suspect you are getting what sounds like a 4/4 lead-in, but then the song goes into 2/4.

I can't remember if v11 supports it, but I do know that later versions of BIAB allow you to use the currently selected styles drum patterns as your lead-in. That's selected in options. That might help you better establish the feel of the song first than the traditional clicks.
