Great analysis. I don't think Beato cuts his teeth on this one but he gives similar inspection into some other Beatle compositions from a song craft perspective.
The piccolo trumpet part in this song is a lot of fun to play. It’s hard, partly because it spans the whole range of the horn from low F (which requires the fourth valve) to double high G at the end. If these notes sound wrong to you, it’s because we play this on a trumpet in the key of A.
That taught me a lot and I watched the whole thing.
