Since I got my EWI, I've been busy porting over my favorite sounds to SFZ format. It requires a bit of work, but it's worth it.
The sounds that came with the EWI were pretty awful, which is surprising since Garritan supplied them. I ported my favorite sounds from the SoundFont version of GPO, and they're infinitely better.
I've grabbed some of my favorite woodwinds from Miroslav as well.
I've ported over the Chapman Trumpet from Embertone (with real legato) and it's awesome. That required writing a program to figure out which legatos to attach to which notes, but I was able to re-use the code to port the Jubal Flute as well.
I'd been hoping to get my hands on the Sweet Oboe and English Horn from FocuSounds, but they're out of business.
If anyone knows how I can (legally) get my hands on that library, I'd love to hear from them!
