I'm copying this post from off topics. Yes Chris is very outspoken but man does he ever nail a lot of issues. I love his comments on over compressing the final mix. That's worth the watch. Highly recommended for those of us who consider ourselves mixers, etc. He says what he thinks about that from the get go

My favorite part was when he answered the question "what do you think about people on laptops that call themselves mixers?" Doesn't apply to me 'cause I'm on a desktop

But man, he knows his stuff, no question about that. I've seen quite a few of his videos, always both entertaining and informative.
